Cheryl One shots (Cher and Meryl Streep 😍)

Real love

This is part two of Cher and Meryl's coming out to the cast of Mamma Mia 2 on set. I took a part from my own book Iconic love and put it here since I couldn't think of something to say. If you have read that book, you will spot it. The song above is my second favorite Cher song of all time

The next day was Meryl's first time on set but she was really excited to see all of her old cast mates. She was thrilled to have met the new cast as well as Lilly James who was playing young Donna. The day went on with Cher and Meryl filming separately, they hadn't talked to each other all day. Neither knew how they were going to come out to the cast at this rate. Meryl saw Cher talking to Ol and Judy and she started to walk towards them. Suddenly Pierce stopped her standing in front of her.

"Hey Meryl how's it going?" He said

"Hi Pierce, good thank you. Being my first day here yet it seems that time hasn't gone by" She said

"Yeah it really hasn't" Pierce said getting dangerously close to her

"Pierce don't, I know what you're trying to do" Meryl said backing away

"Meryl I have missed you, you know how I feel about you and even though you have rejected me I still do" Pierce got close again

"And I still will, I was married back then" she said backing away again but was stopped by a wall behind her "I only see you as a friend Pierce and I can't be anything else"

Pierce once again got closer to her and he rested his arm above her on the wall "You are a divorce woman and I have loved you for 10 years. I haven't been well with Keeley and am thinking of divorcing her. This is our chance, please give me the chance to conquer your heart"

"Pierce..." Meryl was getting nervous, she didm't know what else to say to get away from him.

On the other end of the room, at the bar, Julie and Christine were watching the scene concerned. They already knew from the first movie that Pierce had feeling for Meryl because she told them. Cher approached them without seeing what was going on.

"Hey girls, have you seen Meryl?" She asked

"Yep and she doesn't seem happy or comfortable, it appears that Pierce is making a move on your girl" Christine said

Cher saw Meryl and Pierce and was fumming, she saw Meryl was trying to get away but couldn't. She started walking to them.

"Pierce I can't" Meryl said, she looked up and saw Cher coming to them

"Hi guys, Meryl I was looking for you" Cher said casually

Pierce turned around, that gave Meryl a chance to free herself from him and walk next to Cher "Here I am" she said wrapping her arm around Cher's waist.

"Hello Cher, I was just telling Meryl I'm happy she's finally here" Pierce said faking a smile

"I'm sure" Cher said coldly, she turned to Meryl "Honey it's time" Meryl nodded and they walked away leaving Pierce confused.

"Thank you for saving me" Meryl said to Cher hugging her "I swear I didn't turn his feelings"

"I know babe, and of course I would save you. Nobody touches my woman" Cher said smiling and giving her lover a kiss on the head.

"So how are we going to do this?" Meryl asked

Cher smirked when she saw Ol Parker up on the stage "I already thought of it" she said and dragged Meryl next to the stage, Meryl gave her a questioning look.

Ol Parker stood in the middle of the stage that was located in the center of the set. He took a microphone and spoke.

"Everyone can I have your attention? I have something to say" the director started "These days have been really fun and now more than ever with our additional members" signalling to Andy, Cher and the younger cast "Even though we have a few weeks left, still you all have done amazing work and Judy can made sure of that" they laugh "Since we have the honor of integrating to our cast such a women and icon, aside from Meryl of course, she wanted to give us a thank you gift. Let me introduce Cher" everyone cheered.

Cher ran to the stage and took the microphone. Meryl was watching her intrigued and a little surprised "Hi!!! It has been such an honor to be part of this movie and amazing cast. It has been really special to me because once again I get to share this experience with someone. A person who means the world to me. To honor her first day I want to dedicate a song that also has a message for the rest of you. Something that Meryl and I had been wanting to say but didn't have the guts. The reason she got divorce a week ago, get up here" Everyone looked confused and even more when Meryl took the stage alongside Cher "hit it"

The two women held hands as Cher started to sing. Cher got Meryl closer to her

Cher spinned her around and they danced. Seeing Meryl giggle brought butterflies to Cher's stomach, this moment was perfect.

Cher got their foreheads together, they were both smiling looking into each other's eyes.

They parted and swayed in sync, bodies pressed against each other. Meryl had her arms around Cher's neck and smiled as Cher sang

Cher turned Meryl around so that Meryl's back was pressed against her chest. She put one arm around her waist, Meryl rested her head on Cher's shoulder and they danced. Cher singing in Meryl's ear.

When the song ended, Meryl turned around to face Cher and planted a big and passionate kiss on her lips. Everybody was shocked for what they just witnessed, all except Julie and Christine who already knew but were still in awe of the performance. Also proud of their friends

Cher and Meryl ended the kiss they were nervous for everyones reaction but when they heard them clap and cheer they relaxed.

"So now you know" Cher said, they all clapped "But I have one more thing to say" she got in front of Meryl and got on one knee holding out a diamond ring in her hand. Meryl covered her mouth in shocked and tearing up "Mary Louise Streep, will you marry me?"

Meryl gasped and screamed "Yes!!!" Cher stood up, put the ring on her lovers finger and kissed her tenderly. They were finally uncovered and could have the life they have always wanted. Together
