Neymar did not want to leave Santos. Even though it was a life long dream of him to play in Barcelona, Spain with Leo Messi.
But in May of 2013 Neymar decided to Join Barcelona after the 2013 Confederations cup.

Neymar had agreed to join Barcelona and in June of 2013 was his last game of Santos. Leaving Santos in utter tears. He had played with those team mates since a child. They were his best friends. He still hangs out with them TODAY. Neymar had quoted
" It's difficult to say goodbye, but its a dream come true. " :( it was a sad day for Santos. But yet a dream for Neymar.
Neymar had his presentation for Barcelona a couple weeks later. The doctors suggested Neymar gain a little wait to handle the spanish players. But yet, Neymar played fantastic in Barcelona.
