Bobby, Jessie and I did not get together that week, as they were tied up with a family get together.

We made plans for the following week, but Sunday night there was a knock on my front door.

When I opened it, Bobby was standing there.

.

"Hey buddy, I did not expect to see you until next week. Come on in."

.

Bobby came in, looking around the foyer.

"We finished up with the family, this afternoon, so I figured I might pop over and have a beer, if you are not busy.

.

I closed the door behind him.

"Not at all."

.

He was still looking around.

.

"What are you looking for?"

.

"Is she here?" Bobby asked quickly, peeking around me, up toward the hallway.

.

Whisper appeared next to me.

.

"She is right here by my side," I told him.

.

He stepped back a little.

"Ok. This is still freaking me out, but I promised Jess I would try to understand this."

.

I started up to the hallway, next to the kitchen.

"Sweetie, will you get us a beer?"

.

Bobby joined me, just in time to see the refrigerator door open and two beers seemingly floated to us.

Whisper passed me the two beer.

"Thanks sweetie, but don't forget to close the door."

.

"Sorry, Daddy," she quipped, as she ran back to the refrigerator.

The door closed, quickly.

.

I passed the beer to Bobby.

He examined it. "There are no strings."

.

I slapped him on the back, laughing.

"Come here."

We stood at the end of my hallway. There were 6 doors, that we could clearly see.

I looked at Bobby.

"Watch this."

I turned to Whisper.

"Sweetie will you open the doors?"

.

She giggled and walked off. I watched as she opened each door.

Bobby turned pale and took long drinks from his beer.

She stopped at the end of the hall and waved at me.

.

I waved back to her.

"You can close the doors now, sweetie."
