Partner - Brent Rivera

New day, new story, right? That's how it goes. Some days are just shit but some days are wonderful.

In the morning you woke up thinking what will happen today. Everything’s planned. You have your routines; take a shower, do your makeup, change clothes, go to Starbucks to get a coffee, go to school, go home after school, eat, do homeworks and study, go to sleep.

   Basic college student stuff. Today is the same. You took a shower, did your makeup, changed clothes and now you're at the school.

  You sit to the same desk in English class as always. You take your laptop from your bag as the teacher began the class. “Okay, today you'll work with a partner. You'll write a story together, alright? So, the partners are; Nico and Jessica, Jason and Emily…” Professor Williams started. Wait. Are these gonna be boy and girl partners? Shit. You thought. You sit there quietly waiting for your name to be mentioned. “...Brent and Y/N…” You hear him saying.

   Great. You got to be partners with your crush. Is this gonna be a shitty or wonderful day? Rather be wonderful!

You see Brent coming towards you and sat next to you. “Hey.” he says. “Hey.” you say.

“So… what kind of story do you wanna write?” Brent suddenly asks, snapping you out of your thoughts.

“I– um… honestly can write anything. It's up to you.” You respond and he nodded.

“Well, what about a romantic story?” Brent asks and smirks. You give him the are-you-serious-look. “Hey, what's wrong with that?” He asks. You roll your eyes and sigh.

You're pretty sure, that you'll do the most of the work, because, well, it's Brent Rivera. He's not the best writer in this school. Actually, you don't know has he wrote much anything.

  “Ugh, alright. But you gotta write, too and not leave all to me.” You say.

He lets out a soft laugh. Oh my god he is so cute!

  “Okay, let's start then!” He exclaims excitedly.

You do the planning first: characters, storyline etc. You have a lot of fun together.

Once the class ended, the teacher tells us, “Your stories have to be done for Wednesday then!”

What?! We have only two days! And we don't even have English tomorrow. So, does this mean, that you have to go to Brent's or he comes to yours. No way!

You turn to look at Brent with furrowed eyebrows.

“See you after school. Let's go to my place.” Brent says smirking and leaves the classroom.

You could feel the butterflies already in your stomach.

You're going to Brent's place! Today!

You are excited, but also scared. You've never been there. You have barely talked to Brent and now you're going to his place. Thanks to one English project!

You were very nervous the rest of the day. Only thing what you could think about was Brent. He's making you crazy, even though he isn't doing anything. This goes already so well. See the sarcasm?

You walk out of the entrance of the school and search Brent with your gaze.

Maybe he forgot? Why would he even want to do anything with you?

Soon your gaze fell on Brent, who was waving at you. Phew. Thank God he's there and you don't make a fool out of yourself.

You wave at him, too and walk up to him.
