Ch. 28- Introducing... Sickness!

-Morning at the Greed residence-

*Licht is sitting down at the dining room, scrolling through his phone*

Hyde: *enters dining room* "'Morning, Licht~~"

Licht: "Mm..." *pulls scarf tighter around his neck*

Hyde: "Huh? What's with the scarf?"

Licht: "If you haven't noticed, it's cold in here. The heater is broken."

Hyde: "Oh, I didn't notice." *laughs*

Licht: "Of course you don't, you cold-blooded monster."

Hyde: "Hey! That's a bit 'cold' of you! Ha! See what I did there?"

*Licht glares*

*Before he could throw a kick at Hyde for his stupid pun, Hyde comes close and wraps his arms around Licht*

Hyde: "Heeere~ I'm warm. I'll give you lots of warmth, Liiicht..." *snuggles*

Licht: ! *blushes* "... W-well. You are pretty warm..." *gingerly returns Hyde's hug*

*Hyde droops down on him*

Licht: "Hey. Don't get too carried away."

Hyde: "Hah... Isn't it fine...? Hff..."

Licht: "... You're hot."

Hyde: *pulls back from Licht* "Why, thanks, Angel-cakes! I am pretty dashing!" *sparkle*☆

*Licht reaches out and holds Hyde's face in his hand*

Licht: "You have a fever."

Hyde: "Fever? That's impossible~..."

Licht: *slowly withdraws hand* "Get back to bed."

Hyde: "No way." (♯｀∧') "I'm fiiiine."

*Licht suddenly gets up from his chair and tugs at Hyde's collar*

Licht: "Stop being so stubborn. You're going to bed."

Hyde: ♪('ε｀ ) "I mean... if you want to do it that much..."

Licht: "Do... it..."

*Licht realizes, and then throws Hyde* (*-*)

....

-In Hyde's room-

*Licht puts a wet cloth on Hyde's forehead*

Hyde: *in bed* "This is a bit embarrassing..." *covers his cough*

Licht: "Just get spoiled, rotten hedgehog."

Hyde: "Spoiled? I hardly call this getting spoiled unless you give me a kiss~" *puckers up his lips*

Licht: "...." *leans down to kiss*

Hyde: *moves his face away* "Haha... I'm just kidding, Licht-babe. Can't you take a little jest? I don't want you getting sick, too..."

*Licht is annoyed* 💢💢

-Later-

*Licht returns to the room after having made porridge*

Licht: "Sit up. I got you something."

Hyde: *wakes from his nap* "Huh...?" *tries sitting up*

*Licht wordlessly helps the Servamp sit up, placing a pillow behind his back for support*
