Ch. 01- Introducing... The Cell Phone!

[Mahiru and Kuro]

Mahiru: "Are you bored doing the same thing every day, Kuro?"

Kuro: *looks over from the TV* "Are you talking about yourself?"

Mahiru: "No, I'm talking about you!" *sigh* "The point is, do you want to go on vacation?"

Kuro: "Not really. Seems bothersome."

Mahiru: (- -;) "You would think that, would you? It's just that you seem bored. All you do is stare at that screen all day. I feel like it's partly my fault you barely go out since we're supposed to stay close with one another."

Kuro: *stare* "You're worrying about nothing. I like staying inside."

Mahiru: "Right..."

[Next day]

Mahiru: "Come on, Kuro! Time for grocery shopping!"

*Kuro transforms into a cat and hops on Mahiru's shoulder*

*After jumping on a bus*

Kuro (cat): *low voice* "Uh... Mahiru, why are we on a bus?"

Mahiru: *whisper* "I thought that maybe we could go downtown for grocery shopping."

Kuro (cat): "... Is this about last night?"

Mahiru: "Well since you brought it up, I guess we could walk around the place for a bit."

Kuro (cat): "Wha..."

*Bus arrives to destination*

Mahiru: "Let's get the groceries later. I don't want to carry around a lot of stuff."

*Walks into a mall. Window shops, pass by stores. Eventually Kuro turned into his vampire form*

Mahiru: "Oh!" *runs in a phone store*

Kuro: *follows after* "What is it now?"

Mahiru: "Kuro, I have an idea. Let's buy you a phone!"

Kuro: "What good is that to me?"

Mahiru: "Actually, I don't know, but you could text your siblings."

Kuro: "I don't think they would have phones either."

Mahiru: "Still, maybe if I'm in a bind you could call Misono and Tetsu for me."

Kuro: "... Why do you want to buy me a phone so badly?"

Mahiru: "Why not? Just accept the gift when I'm buying it for you!"

*Latest touch screen phone GET ゲット!!*

*Both out of the store sitting on a bench*

Kuro: *stares at the phone in his hand* "So this is what people are into lately."

Mahiru: "Yeah, it has a lot features on it so that makes sense."

Kuro: *glances over to Mahiru* "Why didn't you buy this for yourself?"

Mahiru: "I already got a phone."

Kuro: "Not the latest."

Mahiru: "I'm fine with that."

Hyde: *pops next to them outta no where* "Oh, is Brother and his Eve on a date?"

Mahiru: *surprised* "Where did you come from?!"

Hyde: *jabs thumb at the direction of a gentlemen clothing store* "My angel's shopping for a new suit for his upcoming recital."

Kuro: "Oh, he's here too."
