REMEMBERING SUNDAY -ALL TIME LOW

Start from the beginning

You’re shocked by his serious questions. All his questions were usually random and weird ‘would you rather?’s. You two have been great friends for a long time, every weekend you two hang out while he tries to teach you how to play his confusing video games, which you can’t get a grasp on, so you result in these weird games.

"I don’t believe in love at all so no. What is yo-"

"You don’t believe in love?" He interrupts you.

"No, and it’s still my turn!" You whack his arm playfully.

"Wait a second." He sits up more, staring at you seriously, "why don’t you believe in love?"

You sigh, standup, and grabb your pizza leftovers. Everyone always gives you the strangest looks and questions you, when you say you don’t believe in love.

"I don’t know, it just seems like something made up in the fairytales and movies. My parents marriage failed horrible, and I was caught in the middle of it, you know that. Besides, anyone who I ever thought I’ve loved has only hurt me in the end, so I don’t believe in it." You shrug and walk into the kitchen of Michael’s apartment to throw your trash away.

"What about us?" he asks faintly from the living room.

You can just hear the pain and confusion in his voice. You stand there for a minute furrowing your eyebrows. Yea, you’ve had your fair share of make-out sessions, and you’ve hooked up a few times, but you were drunk each time. You didn’t think it meant anything to him.

"What about us?" you step out into the living room to see his eyebrows furrowed together as he stares at the coffee table.

"What about us?" he repeats, standing up, walking over towards you, "I’m crazy about you Y/N! You can’t say that you don’t feel anything about me, I know you do."

This hit you like a ton of bricks, suddenly his lips are on yours, filled with more passion than you’ve ever had in a single kiss before. It takes you a minute to respond, but you kiss back, butterflies filling your gut. He wraps his arms around you tightly.

"I love you Y/N, and I am going to show you that I do, and that it’s real. I don’t care how long it takes." He whispers against your lips before reattach

Calum:

I’m not coming back (forgive me)

I’ve done something so terrible

I’m terrified to speak (I’m not calling, I’m not calling)

But you’d expect that from me

"You did the job, you get paid, here you go." Your employer, Gabe, says, holding out an envelope filled with money.

You shake your head vigorously.

“I don’t want the money, I never should have done that job.” You mutter the last part quietly.

“No,” He says with disbelief, “you’re in love with him!”

You bow your head, tears starting to brim your eyes.

“I always knew you were pathetic.” he spits out, “In this business, you don’t get to be in love with someone darling, you should know that. How many years have you been apart of us? Five years?”

I stay silent.

“Answer me!” He shouts, pushing you up against the wall.

“Seven. It’s been seven years.” a sob emits from your mouth.
