He is upset

Ashton: You hear a loud banging followed by a string of profanities come from the rehearsal studio. Ashton's been in there for hours and so far you'd hear about 2 minutes of straight drumming before he gets frustrated and bangs around the studio. A sigh emits from your lips when you see him hunched over on his drumming stool; his head in his hands, and his drumsticks thrown around the room. "Ash baby." You whisper, cautiously making your way over to him. He looks up for a split second, sweat brimming at his hairline and what you assumed were tears, streaming down his face. "G-go away." He chokes out before burying his head back into his hands. You wrap your arms around his neck, resting your head on his shoulder. You rub his shoulders, eventually feeling him relax underneath your touch. "It'll be okay baby, you'll get it." He sighs, telling you he doesn't agree. "You're an amazing drummer Ash! Don't let one little setback upset you so much! I know you and I know that you'll get it and I want you to know that I'll be with you every step of the way." You whisper into his ear. "Why don't you take a break baby? We can drink some tea and cuddle, or I can give you a massage or we can do something else..." You trail off, smirking slightly. He smirks back at you. "What did you have in mind?"

Luke: It was happening again. For the past week or so you'd be waking up in the middle of the night to the sound of Luke crying. He wouldn't tell you what was wrong, he'd just pretend to sleep and muffle his tears when you woke up. Tonight you were determined to get him to open up to you. "Luke baby." You whisper, turning over to face his scrunched up figure. As usual the sound of tears subsided slightly. "I know you're awake." You crawl over to him, straddling his waist forcing him to look up at you. He stares at you with glassy eyes, your heart breaking at the sight of him so upset. "Please tell me what's wrong." You beg while trying to choke back sobs. He just shakes his head and mutters 'I'm fine'. You frown. "I know you're not okay. Just tell me what's wrong!" He shakes his head once more. "Why don't you tell me anything?" You say with tears freefalling from your eyes. You roll off of him and face the opposite direction. You can feel him shuffle around in bed, his hands soon snaking around your waist. "I don't want you to worry." He mutters. "It worries me so much to see you like this, knowing that I can't do anything about it." He rubs your hipbone with his thumb. "I just feel like I'm not good enough for you. You can do so much better than me. I mean when I look and see you with other guys i-i just think that you're gonna leave me and..." You place your lips onto his, stopping him from talking. "You are perfect and don't you ever feel like you're not good enough! You're more than enough and I'll never leave you, I love you too."

Calum: You came home one day to find Calum lying face first on the bed. "Uh Cal?" A muffled grunt leaves his lips in response. "You okay?" He grunts again. You manage to flip him over so he is lying on his back. He looks at you with his puppy dog eyes. "What's up?" You say as you plop down beside him, nestling into the curve of his body. "I'm just homesick I guess. I miss my home, my family, I miss Australia." He sighs, curling into your body, resting his head in the crook of your neck. "You only have a few more days in L.A and then you can go back home to see everyone and you'll be on tour at the same time! You'll have the best of both worlds!" You exclaim. He smiles at you. "And I'll have you." He adds, causing you to smile. "You'll always have me." You whisper. Wrapping your hands around his neck and pressing your lips to his plump ones. "Thanks baby." He whispers against your lips. "Anytime." You mumble into the kiss. You both pull away smiling. "I love you." You say in unison with the other. "I can't wait for you to meet everybody!" He sighs at the thought. "I can't wait to meet them too." You say. You let him ramble on about his home, hoping he'll forget all about his homesickness.

Michael: You hear something shatter as soon as you enter the flat. Michael swearing over and over again fills your ears. You follow the sound of the profanities to the living room where Michael is kneeling over what looks like his now broken PS3. He looks up at you with sad eyes. "She's gone. It's all over. My life has no meaning anymore. I might as well die." You furrow your eyebrows. "She?" He gives you a glare that could kill. "Yes her Y/N. My PS3 is dead. Please show some sympathy." You raise your hands in defence. "Sorry babe. I'll try to be more sympathetic." You say with a note of sarcasm. He just sighs before walking off. You follow him out to the porch. "Mikey." "What." You open your arms out to him. "Come here babe." He allows you to wrap him up in your arms. You slowly rock back and forth on your heels. "Wanna go to GameStop? I'll buy you a new PS3." You whisper. His face lights up. He grabs your hand and drags you to the car. "I take that as a yes?" You chuckle and he just smiles widely at you.
