Chapter 22

Daniella's POV

Nandito na ako ngayon sa opisina ni Headmistress. Pinaupo niya muna ako dahil hingal na hingal sa pagtakbo. Mabuti nalang at hindi nila ako nakita. "Bakit ka ba tumakbo?" Tanong ni Headmistress at binigyan ako ng tubig.

"Para hindi ako makita ng team ko.." Sagot ko sa kanya bago inumin ang tubig. "Ayaw mo ba silang makita?" Mahinang tanong niya at umiling ako. "Ayokong tanong sila ng tanong sakin kung saan ako pupunta." Natawa naman si Headmistress at bumalik sa upuan niya.

Ilang minuto na akong naghihintay kay Goddess Selene. Bumaling ako sa isang pintuan kung saan tinago ni Headmistress ang Elemental stones. So far, wala pang lumitaw na shadow slaves ni Lucefina. Bumuntong hininga ako habang iniisip ang mga posibleng mangyari kung hindi kami handa.

"Are you ready?" Nagulat ako sa pabiglang paglitaw ni Goddess Selene sa likod ko. Tumayo ako sa kanya at yumuko sa kanya. "Yes Goddess Selene." Ngumiti siya at bumaling kay Mrs. Acantha bago tumango. "Good luck on your training Daniella." Ngumiti ako kay Headmistress.

"Of course Headmistress." Umilaw ang kamay ni Goddess Selene. As she extends her hand, a gateway opens, a massive portal to be exact. After that, Goddess Selene motioned for me to enter the portal. I'm a nervous as hell. Before entering the portal, I grab the hem of my shirt and take a deep breath.

This is it Daniella.

Pagpasok ko sa portal ay para nalang nasa loob ako ng ipo-ipo. "AHHHHHH!" Umiikot ang paningin ko at nakakahilo. Ilang segundo ay bigla nalang akong nahulog sa lupa. "Ughh!" Hinaplos ko ang aking pwet sa sakit. I wanted a soft landing but I got the hard one. Shit, it really hurts. Inikot ko ang buong mata ko sa lugar, noticing that Goddess Selene disappeared. Not only that but I was also struck by the massive golden structures in this place. A staircase in front of me leads to a temple or whatever.

"Daniella." Napalingon agad ako nang makarinig ako ng boses sa aking likuran. Before, I had trouble examining her face because she was a bit bright but now, I can fully see her face. She's so beautiful but let's put that aside first, why did it seemed like she grew 2 times than her usual form? "Nasaan po tayo?" Tanong ko. 

"Nasa lugar tayo ng mga Diyos at Diyosa Daniella." Nanlaki ang mata ko at lumingon sa templo sa itaas. So that's their temple huh?

"This is Olympus."

"OLYMPUS!?"

"Yes, now we must hurry and introduce you to the Gods." Lumutang siya kaya sumunod ako sa kanya. The issue is that the stairwell in front of me is enormous, and I'm carrying luggage. I'm guessing this staircase has about 300 stairs. Before I get to the temple, I'm going to die!

"Ummm Goddess Selene, don't you think it's kinda hard for me to climb up?" Huminto siya at lumingon sa akin. 

"Of course, it's part of your training now." Nalaglag ang panga ko. Seriously?!

"Yes Daniella, I'm serious." Huminga ako ng malalim at nagpatuloy. First arrival in olympus and I am now struggling from a minor training. 

Nakarating na kami sa itaas, it took like an hour for me to reach here. Nasa harap kami ng gintong pintuan sa templo ng Olympus. Napalunok ako at bumaling kay Goddess Selene. Ngumiti lang siya sakin at lumapit para yakapin ako. I hug her becak, feeling the comfort she gave me. After that, we parted our hug. "I'm ready to face them Goddess Selene." Sabi ko kaya tumango siya sakin at lumakad sa harap ko. Bumukas ang gintong pintuan at sumalubong samin ang malamig na hangin. 

I walked slowly inside the temple, admiring the sculptures and paintings inside. Goddess Selene motioned for me to follow her inside, so I did so quietly. Do you ever get the impression you're going to visit the ancient Gods and Goddesses you read about in books? Doesn't it sound incredible? Who thinks they still exist, after all? But, really, something in here is overwhelming me. I really have to respect them by the time I'm confronted with them.
