"Humph! This old man will forgive you this time, however next time you should look for another master." He said this without thinking, as his words registered, he froze.

Insecurely, he glanced at her. 'She wouldn't abandon me as a master so soon, right?'

When he saw her thoughtful expression, his heart jumped into his throat.

"Hehe, this old man was just kidding don't that it seriously. I am a good person and wouldn't be so evil to break a disciple-master relationship so soon. Anyone who did that should definitely be eaten by demons!" He laughed awkwardly.

If it wasn't for the fact that talented people are needed to stand against those things... his heart shivered while thinking about them... I wouldn't have a disciple this fickle!

'Eaten by demons? Wasn't that too harsh?" Meng gave him a skeptical glance then, just ignored the bogus comment and going back to thinking about how she should reduce the time it would take to search through the library.

After all, a five-day absence was far to long for her to waste more time in here. 'Hmm... Despite that fact that he has psychosis he is still a librarian.' Meng undecidedly observed Rong You. 'Fine, I should try at least.'

"Master Rong? Is there a book on nurturing in this library?"

Hearing that for the first time his fickle disciple wanted something from him, Rong You looked like he would pass out from happiness.

"Ha-ha, nurturing books? Of course, this master knows every book in this library! Hmm. As a cultivator let me guess that you are looking how to nurture a spirit animal?"

"no."

Rong You face turned a bit dissatisfied when he heard her answer. 'Was she really raising a normal pet? Didn't she understand that for a cultivator time is gold!?'

During the first levels of cultivation, the aging process continues as normal, however once reaching the sky realm your life line is increased by around one hundred years. Breaking through the bottleneck to sky level could take years or even decades. Even for a talented genius like him, it took five years to get past.

Yet... She had the audacity to sit around and raise a useless pet?

"If you are looking for books on raising common animals. They are in the back; this old man doesn't have time to read such things." He grumbled out with a face full of disappointment. The reason he picked this girl to be his disciple wasn't just because of her quick cultivation, but also because he saw something in her.

When he has walked out of his study and saw her cultivating, he was a bit surprised that she could understand cultivation books when she was barely seven and decided to see how far it went. He saw her failure and was sure that her path would end there.

He wasn't sure why her cultivation had emptied out like that, however losing so much would harm a cultivator forever. He felt a small amount of pity for her since for a royal, cultivation was everything. Nevertheless, he had seen many people fail while walking the road of cultivation.

He had turned his back on her and prepared to enter his study again when he felt something impossible. The girl had some how made an entirely new spark of cultivation out of nothing. A cultivation spark was born with the person to be cultivated; it being creating out of nothing was never heard of before.

The complexity of finding the exact rhythm of the cultivation energy in the air and the willpower to force together a spark was something far beyond even him.

The aura around her was nothing like the nonchalant one she had now, it's domineering pressure would make anyone chilled to the bone. His heart had almost jumped out his chest with an excitement never felt before.

At that time, he had thought the girl was hiding her true self to not attract enemies and didn't think much of it. However, as soon as she opened her eyes after defying the heavens, her aura had turned to the same unconcerned person from before. Even when she was supposed to be fighting for her life, he didn't feel the same aura again.

It was as if she had hidden it so deep inside of herself that she had forgotten that it was there. He had spent days after accepting her as a disciple, trying to figure out how to bring it out again and had come up with many ideas. But, after meeting her again and talking to her, he realized that the armor she had wrapped around her mind was much stronger than he thought.
