Elliot's POV

My sneezing left me with a runny nose, and left me even more miserable than I already was. I sniffled loudly, before turning to Marley, who had now finished folding my clothes. The tent rustled from the wind that rolled past it, causing a slow ripple along the fabric of the tent. I watched the action absentmindedly, as my mind drifted back to the 'fight' I had with Deimos earlier. That expression he had when he grabbed me. . . It seemed foreign. I didn't know what to make of it. I sighed, passing a hand gently through my hair.

Deimos.

There was so much he wouldn't tell me, yet he needed total transparency when it came to me, or anyone else for that matter.

I shook my head, disagreeing with my own thoughts.

He didn't tell me everything, but he did reveal alot more about himself over the last few days. Especially about his third consciousness, Zeref.

It did take a certain amount of probing in order to get him to reveal that information to me, however.

I sighed again, and lazily rubbed my now stuffy nose.

"You know what? I think it may be the silver in the drink. Its probably too concentrated. . . Yeah, that sounds like it."

I scoffed at Marley's suggestion, before turning to face her.

"I doubt it. My regeneration's pretty high."

Marley shrugged, before standing up.

"Well, at least I tried to help. . ."

Marley stepped forward, and her legs suddenly wobbled, before completely weakening under her body weight. Before she could fall onto her face, I grabbed her waist, pulling her towards me. "Ah, sorry, sorry. . . I got a little dizzy. . .  I think I stood up too fast", she tried to explain, but I sent her deadpanned look.

I didn't believe her.

"Ugh, you totally look like Deimos right now."

I completely ignored her disrespectful comment, then proceeded to ask her a question of my own. "When was the last time you ate?" At my question, Marely's eye started darting in several random directions. "Umm. . . about a week ago?"

I placed my free hand on my hip.

"What? I mean, Could you blame me? Geez. . ."

Marley trailed off, and I could barely register a hidden look of pain within her eyes. "You're right. Sorry." I straightened her form, and she mumbled a thanks in response. I thought back on what I had gathered about what had happened to the Moonshine pack after we left. They were attacked by Vulcans controlled by a Cursed wolf and about how only half of the Pack remained. Their deaths left a huge impact on the members that survived, especially Marley, who completely shut down due to the grief.
