It was the day of the wedding. Everyone but Eliza was ready to go, but she was only getting her hair done, so she was fine. Angelica was currently sitting on the floor while Eliza sat in a chair and she was braiding her hair to create a low bun. The bun consisted of flowers and little specks of snow because it was a winter wedding. Eliza's dress was grand, but simple and her veil had a long train that needed to be carried by three people

She truly was beautiful

Angelica and Peggy were already in the carriage and watched as Albert helped her in. The two looked at each other somberly knowing that there was no turning back and it was happening. All they could do was hope Angelica's dreams were wrong, but deep down they knew there was no possibility of that

"What's with the sad faces, ladies? Today should be a happy occasion! Are you not happy for me?" Eliza asked cluelessly

"Of course we're happy for you, 'Liza! We love you and we're so happy that you have found someone that makes you just as happy. We're a little tired is all." Peggy answered for the both of them

"Oh, ok! I just don't want any sad faces at my wedding. You two are my greatest supporters and I hate seeing you sad."

Angelica was staring at Eliza in pure wonder. How could a person be so trusting? So kind? A part of Angelica believed she was an angel sent directly from heaven. For she was just too pure for this world.

In a matter of seconds, they arrived at the ballroom where the Hamilton wedding was held. It was a very grandiose building and there were flowers everywhere with white decor

The sisters started laughing and squealing with each other as the concept of Eliza's marriage sunk in. This was going to be amazing

"Ladies, I see Alexander! He can't see me, it's bad luck. Distract him and his friends, will you? Thanks, loves!" Eliza ran off to God knows where while Peggy and Angelica stood there in confusion.

The group of men walked over to the sisters

"Peggy, ma chéri. How are you today?" John Laurens asked Peggy, as he kissed her hand

"I am well, mon chère. How is the revolution?"

"We are winning at the moment. Angelica, mon ami, and how are you?"

"Just peachy, John. Just peachy." Angelica answered

John shrugged his shoulders and kissed Angelica's hand. He and his two friends, Mulligan and Marquis de Lafayette, walked away, but Alexander stayed.

"Peggy, Angelica. I want to tell you how happy I am you two could make it. Especially you, Angelica." Alexander said

The two girls looked at each other "We wouldn't miss it for the world. Eliza's our sister and we'd do anything for her." Angelica explained

"Yes of course. Angelica, may I please speak to you? Alone?"

Angelica was caught off guard with his request and looked at Peggy for guidance. She too believed that this request was suspicious, but nodded her head at Angelica for her to go ahead.

"I'll be with you shortly, Pegs." Angelica told her

"I'll be with Laurens, you don't have to worry."

Alexander grabbed Angelica's hand and lead her to a secluded space in the woods. There was snow around them and thankfully they were dressed warm, yet still classy for the occasion.

Alexander turned and looked into Angelica's eyes

"Angelica, I have a confession to make"

"A-a confession?"
