Evan POV
My last class for the day just ended and I'm walking down the hall to my locker, bring not to make eye contact with anybody.
I kept my head down but in doing that I bumped into some jock and fell over, spilling my books everywhere
"ohmygod I-I'm so so sorry!" I gasped as I looked up at them
"Next time, watch where you going loser!" he said kicking me in the stomach, sending tears poring out of my eyes
"I d-didn't mean t-to" I choked through tears while I curled up in a ball
"how about you fuck off my acorn" I heard someone growl from behind me and the jock
"what the fuck did you say to me Kleinman?" the bully said almost tacked aback
I lifted my head in time to see Jared punch him in the face then he grabbed my hand and drag me out of school. he dragged me to my favourite tree at the back and sat down at the roots that poked out
"I can't believe that jerk!" he said aggressively, then he looked up at me and his expression initially softened
"sorry for yelling Ev" he mumbled as I sat down next to him
"i-it's ok" I said wrapping my arms around his waist and burying my head in his top
"about the other day..." he started, my eyes filling with tears as I remembered the things he said,
"I didn't mean any of it, ok Ev? let me be the first to say, I fucked up and I was just in a bad place... please forgive me" Jared said genuinely upset
"not even the bit about only being friends because your mom pays for your car insurance?" I asked lifting my head and looking him in the eyes, our faces only inches apart
he closed his eyes blushing and chuckling, "my mom stopped paying for that years ago!" he said smiling, tears poring out of his eyes too
I don't quite know what I was thinking, but I leaned in meeting met lips with his, and he kissed back
sure, we were blushing like crazy,extremely uncomfortable and crying non-stop (hehe non-stop)but it was all I ever wanted, no, needed.
A/N: I am so sorry, this was SOOOO short! I've just been really busy lately, you know, life stuff. I will post more but, like, I don't know if the next time will be soon or not :/ sorryyyyy (also, not bothered to proof read)
