Michael trans AU

Michael's POV

I walked down the hall to the cafeteria, hands shaking and knees weak. Jeremy seemed to notice as he glanced at me, and he held my hand which calmed me a bit.

"you'll be fine, and if anyone thinks any worse of you, I will literally pay Rich to beat them up" he said rubbing my back reassuringly 

as we approached our normal table with Rich, Jake, Christine, Broke, Chloe and Jenna. (this is post-squip) 

I took a shaky  breath and Preparing for the worst but hoping for the best,

"um, guys... I have something to tell you" I said, still holding Jeremy's hand

"sure" Christine said directing her attention to me, as did the rest of our group, "go on Michael"

"I... um....." I said trying to focus on breathing, I felt Jeremy squeeze my hand and he gave me a reassuring smile, I took another breath

"I was born a girl." I blurted out shutting my eyes tight "I was born a girl but I' m not a girl, I'm a boy, I just hope you understand and don't judge me or anything..."

there was a long pause, my eyes still shut. but then I felt Jeremy's arms around me, then Rich then Jake...

I spend my eyes to see myself sandwiched in a hugs, Jake was the first to speak,

"Michael... of corse we won't think any different! we will all love you no matter what, if anything, we think more of you for being so brave!"

the rest of the group showed various signs of agreement as they pulled away from the hug,

the rest of the school took it pretty similar, partly because not many people are generally jerks but also because Rich threatened to beat up anyone who didn't accept me,

today was one of those fantastic days were i was incredibly grateful to have such amazing friends
