Jeremy Is under the influence of a extremely powerful supercomputer called a squip, which tells him, in order to be popular, you have to make sacrifices, this particular sacrifice being Michael. After the two meet up in the bathroom at Jake's Halloween party, the squip makes a decision that changes everything.

Well, for Jeremy Heere and his best friend, Michael Mell, they don't have to imagine. It's their reality. The state of New Jersey goes into a wide spread panic after the news that the Apocalypse has started. Zombies roam the streets, numbers climbing higher and higher each day. Doing their best to survive, the two best friends fend for their families and each other. Then Jeremy sustains an injury that could change the course of everything. Out of fear for their friendship, he hides it from Michael. As they try to adapt to these turn of events, Michael and Jeremy realize that maybe their practice of destroying Nintendo Zombies wasn't going to be enough to keep them alive.
