“You do mean the food will be tasting better?” The reporter corrected and Dick Roman gave a devious smile.

“That’s exactly what I mean.”

Dean scoffed, finally annoyed as I was, he switched the channel at last. Finally. I sighed tiredly, I leaned back on the red couch, snuggling closer to the blankets while Dean flipped it over to the weather channel. As much as it disgusted us, we couldn’t do a thing about it, not until we had come up with a plan.

Kevin Tran had helped us, he was the Prophet who translated the word of God onto a tablet. Thankfully we had found him before the angel’s had.

The angel’s one in particular named Hector wasn’t  on our side. Of course Hector was dead now thanks to the demon whore Meg that we—including me—had packed a temporary truce with.  I guess that’s what every supernatural hunter wants is to make pacts with monsters like me and her, note the sarcasm; but hey—us bands of misfits have to stick together right?

Castiel helped smooth things over with the other angel’s making it to where we were allies with them as well, though the alliance with them was just about as shaky as making a truce with the demon. Eventually we’d probably all be enemies again, but as of now they were up for using us to help save the human race.

Good for them, I guess.

“You’re eleven AM appointment is waiting.”

“Thanks Susan.” Dick said adjusting his tie and taking his briefcase which contained the Word of God. The tablet. Dick Roman glared, all the trouble they had to go through for this thing. He mused, damn Winchesters with their flowered bitch and their dog. He growled, glowering at Susan, who took the hint and walked away. He stopped her, and retorted he wanted the reporter Gloria Jane to be taken care of. That reporter in particular seemed to mock Dick Roman, correcting all of his phrasing and usage of words. He was surprised she wasn’t drugged by all the food they had tainted yet, she must be a Vegan or something he mused. Either way, Ms. Gloria Jane had to be taken care of.

“The corpse?” Susan asked sweetly.

“Call the chef,” Dick Roman mused, “I’m feeling like Barbeque tonight.” She smiled and spun on her heel, walking swiftly away.

He walked into his eleven am appointment, swinging the briefcase casually side to side.

“Kevin. Dick.” The Leviathan introduced himself with a smile. “I’m so very excited to meet you.” He laid down the briefcase and set down in the seat, turning to Kevin who was duct taped and tied to the chair across from him.

“You nervous?” Dick Roman questioned. Kevin glared in response. “Don’t be. I’m your biggest fan.”  He ripped off the duct tape and Kevin gasped in shock. He panted heavily.

Dick Roman leaned back, “I brought you a present.” Then he laid the word of God on the table. Kevin pulled tightly on his restraints until the cabled plastic ties cut into his skin. He had to have the tablet, just had to, it was meant to be his.

“What’s that say?” Dick demanded sweetly, looking at the tablet.

“I dunno.” Kevin retorted quietly.

“Cute,” Dick Roman said amused, with a nod. “Edgar.” He motioned and a Leviathan with a black head of hair, a mustache and haunting cold eyes stood up from the chair.
