I love you. »

Minho closed the notebook and rolled on his stomach, hiding his face in his pillow, crying freely and painfully.

“N-not fair!” His screams were muffled by the pillow, but he knew his family could hear him in their own rooms. Minho screamed so hard, he felt his throat was going to split in two. But he didn't care.

His sister opened the door worried; she stood there, not knowing what to do. She knew Minho was suffering. It also hurt her to see her little brother crying like this, he wasn’t like that, he never cried. But now that he’s like this, she’s kind of lost.

“M-minho…”

“LEAVE ME ALONE!” She cringed at his outburst, but didn’t blame him. She walked in and sat down on the bed next to him. She hesitated, but asked anyways.

“What was that… what Taesun gave you..?” She spoke in a gentle way, not wanting to upset him any further.

“It’s not f-fair, noona.” Minho’s muffled words reached her ears. She bit her lip. “I know, Minho. I know.” This seemed to anger Minho; he sat up, revealing his bloodshot eyes.

“No, you don’t know a thing! I was there, I could have stopped this. But I didn’t! I did NOTHING.” Minho yelled. “I left him alone, he was suffering alone and I did nothing!”

Entering the place, Minho took a deep breath. This was the place Minho hated the most.

Funerals.

That place was horrid. The people who went there were horrid, hypocrites. A small amount of people genuinely cry for the loss, but the majority is always after the coffee and gossip. He detests them. And today was no different.

“Minho, let’s go inside.” Kibum mumbled. He drove him there, because Minho said he wouldn’t go there. But his best friend dragged him along. It was Taemin’s funeral after all.

He walked inside the place, it was full of students and teachers, Taemin was loved at school. His family was also there.

Minho then noticed a little girl running towards him and hugging his legs, it was Haneul. He smiled sadly, Taemin’s little sister was his clone, but girl version.

“Hannie, he taught you how to run, hm?” Minho picked her up, he remembered Taemin saying how he was teaching her how to walk, and she’s already starting to run around.

“Minnie, where?” She asked, making a cute face. She hasn’t seen Taemin around, she’s confused. But what could he say? He stayed quiet; he isn’t ready for that yet.

Jonghyun greeted him after; his eyes were red as well. He got closer and put a hand on Minho’s shoulder and looked at the floor.

“Did they-”

“They told me to go out…” Jonghyun’s lower lip trembled. He was trying not to cry, again. He just wanted to say his last goodbye to his childhood friend, but his parents didn’t allow it.

“Where are they?” Minho asked him. Jonghyun gave him a short reply; ‘Inside’

With Haneul in arms, Minho walked inside the room where Taemin’s family was. He bowed a little, not wanted to drop Haneul, and greeting the few others he knew. Everything was going normally, until he heard them talk.

“We loved him so much,” Taemin’s mother sobbed. “I don’t know why he did this, I don’t know!” Minho stopped abruptly; Haneul looked at him with her big brown eyes.
