Jay POV

She was staring at me weirdly. I raised my eyebrow at her.

"What are you trying to accomplish staring at me like that?"

"Nothing. I am just observing you."

"Observing me?"

She shrugged.

She has been 'observing' me since the moment I woke up. Maanav couldn't place her behaviour either. He decided it to ignore as have I.

"What are you still doing here, Swecha?"

"What do you mean? I cant be here."

"You have no reason to be actually. You gave a lift to Maanav, I am grateful for that. You have stayed here the entire night along with Maanav, again, I am grateful for that. But why are you still here?"

"Call it humanity."

"For this long."

"It has a time limit?"

"For most people."

"Meaning?"

"Its too long a theory to explain right now. And you haven't answered the question yet."

"My mother died last year around this time, Jay. I know it has nothing to do with you and you wouldn't even understand how I am feeling but it feels important for me stay here with you. Just think that I am giving myself a little consoling after my mothers death. If it makes sense."

It truly didn't actually. But I didn't say anything after that. The only thing that stopped me from throwing her out of the room is the look in her eyes. It is the same look I had when I found Maanav half dead in the dorm rooms. Its something I cant explain but can definitely identify.

Its the look you give to a broken person.

I don't know how I should feel about that.
