Jahseh's pov:

"What do you mean I'm the key?" I ask in confusion.

" Ski has been trying to escape for years now and he's tried using people like me to do it for him but it's always failed. He then abandoned us and framed us to get locked away in higher security because we failed him.
Once we all realized what Ski was really like we  knew we couldn't let that back out into the real world.
Ski is dangerous and nothing to play around with. It's just best you stay away from him." Metri warns me.

" but what does any of this have to do with me being the key?" I ask still lost.

" have you seen his cell yet?" Metri asks me.

" yes" I answer.

" then you've seen the escape plan?" He asks making sure.
I nod my head that I have.

" your name is is written down for the first step of the plan and it's been there for 5 months" Metri informs me.

" what? How would he know me?" I asked in shock.

" I told you he's dangerous" Metri reminds me.

None of this makes any sense.
Maybe it's because the sewer passage is right behind my cell but then why didn't he ask my other cell mates to do it?

" stay away from him because we can't let him out" Metri warns me again.

" I already tried that it won't work" I inform him.

Metri sighs starting to think of another way before he suggests " then you got to play him the same way he's playing you"

" what?" I ask utterly confused.

" do everything he says, study his escape plan, make the hole, but don't tell him when it's done " Metri informs me while smirking.

" but I have to have it done in a week so how am I supposed to keep it a secret" I ask still not seeing the plan through.

" you have to be able to finish a day early cause we're all escaping, everyone but Ski" Metri smirks waiting for me to approve.

" not bad" I say referring to his plan.
It might actually work.

" your going to need some help though" Metri informs me.

" Already done" I say referring to my cell mates.

" now don't fuck this up" Metri warns me.

Next day

I wake up to the sound of my cell door being unlocked.
I am roughly yanked up onto my feet and guided out of my cell.
Metri gives me a knowing look and I return it. I'm then guided back to my original cell.

" Jah" Gazzy perks up at seeing me.
I smile at him reassuringly.
Once the guard is gone I start getting bombarded by questions.

" what they do to you" Gazzy asks curiously.

" It was only one night solitary" I assure them.

" but I have some news" I inform them in a serious tone.

" what" they all say in union.

" we're escaping" I say smirking.

" nooo... we're not" Michael quickly shuts down my idea.

" I'm in" Daniel announces from the back.

" yeah me too" nick agrees.

" no guys do you really want more time" Michael asks them.

" that will only happen if we fail but we're not" I assure Michael.
I look to Gazzy to see that he is conflicted.

" come on Gazzy it's either we get out or ski" I try persuading him.

" what do you mean?" Gazzy questions me.

" ski is trying to escape and we can't let that happen and this is the only cell he can go through, so we have to get out before he does" I inform them.

" I thought you said Ski was not that bad" Gazzy asks in confusion.

" well I found out some things in solitary" I inform them.

" like what?" Michael questions curiously.

" well first off I found some of those people that were so called missing" I inform them.

" who?" Michael asks still interested.

" kimetrius" I inform him.

" and I'm telling you guys we have to leave or else we're all dead....... so are you in or not?" I ask bringing it down to the final question.

" we're in" everyone answers in union.
