“Miley, are you listening?” my boss said, snapping me out of my daze, “b-but Ms, I only started a couple of months ago, I don’t think I’m ready yet,” I protested, not really keen on writing an article on The Animal, a well known serial killer, with animalistic ways; “Moore, if you ever want to make it in this race, you have to take chances, and this is a good one, and I’m really confident in your skills, so not another word about it, unless you like to end up without a job, dismiss,” she said, going back to her work.
I knew I was screwed in some way or another, as I walk out of her office, but I really like this job, so I guess I have no other choice but to do the article.
