"The Lone Call"

Unity.

Tried had emperors, kings and dukes, great and small, to forge it;

Strived had queens, princesses and maidens, beautiful and plain, to plead and flirt for it;

Struggled had knights and soldiers, scholars and peasants, bright and otherwise, to invoke for and be martyrs of it.

Over the centuries had it been grasped, and lost again.

Many banners had risen for it, and fallen again.

Many ways had it been engineered with: swords, words, prayers chief of all;

Yet still, and forever, shall it be the inspiration for all.

Author's Note:

Hello there, existing and prospective readers! ^^ Pena here!

How kind of you to have dropped by here, and it's equally a pleasure to welcome you all. Hope you shall enjoy your stay!

First off: how do you like my earlier poetry? What other feelings did you feel beyond its words?

What follows is my take on things; you may agree with it, or not, as you please.

Let's be honest with ourselves, we like to consume anime no matter the genre. It's part of our life nowadays, really. Hundred-dozens of episodes we have watched; hundred-dozens of characters, memorized, sometimes by heart; hundred-dozens of so-called values, learned.

Hence the next question: have you ever come across an anime-worthy work that depicts Islamic values? Please do let me know if you have (for I'm just as curious), but in the meantime, suffice to say that such works are quite the rarity; arguably so in this platform.

This, then, is what I hope to contribute through this simple work: provide current and prospective readers with an action-adventure piece of fantasy work that will reasonably weave Islamic values as things go. As such, constructive feedback are always appreciated. ^^

Fair warning:

If at any point in this story you find anything not to your taste, or at odds with your personal values, beliefs and principles that is not readily manageable through open-minded discussions, you are welcome to just stop reading and kindly put this story aside. Not all parties can and need be accommodated in personal works, and I trust everyone will value graceful silence over thoughtless remarks that we might someday regret.

Still reading? Thank you, because that's all there is to it.

Enjoy! :D
