Chapter 9: Torn By Two

  Midoriya scanned the rack, there wasn't many 'out there' picks, but there was one that was." Hey Jiro, what about this one?" 

    The pin had a picture of a cat with the body of a baby, and the cat/baby was flying through space." Hm......it's ugly......I'll get it!"

     "Are you sure this is the pick you want?" Reo asked as Jiro fiddled in her bag for her wallet.

      "Yeah, I wanted something new."

      "huh, I never thought you'd go with something so....uh.....different."

      Jiro pulled out her wallet and began taking cash from it," No need, it's on the house."

        "Really!?"

         "Yeah, just tell your dad to give me a call and the pick is yours."

          "Deal!"

       The two walked out of the shop," Looks like Iida and Hagakure aren't out yet." Midoriya stated taking a seat on a bench in front of the store. Jiro took sat next to him while staring at her pick.

"Hey Jiro."

  "Hm?" Jiro hummed in response.

    "Back when we were at the food court, what did you mean by 'bi problems?'"

        "Oh that, it actually wasn't really meant for you, I mean I said it to you but..." Jiro sighed.

         Midoriya scooted closer," You know if there's something wrong, you can always talk to me about it."

     Jiro looked at Midoriya before staring back at her pick," I guess I'm confused.....confused about who I like.....confused about these feelings that I feel for them."

    "If you don't mind me asking, who are those people?"

      Jiro sank more into her seat," Momo and Kaminari....."

      "Wait really!? I guess I can see you liking Momo, but Kaminari? You always laugh and make fun of him though."

    Jiro put her face into her hands,"I know, I know!"

     Midoriya frowned, he hates seeing his friends sad more than anything, so at this moment, he needs to be understanding." Ok."

     Jiro looked up from her hands and at Midoriya,"....Why do you like him?"

     "Well, he's stupid, and because of his stupidity, he never fails to make laugh! He may be a total dork, but I don't mind that, Ya' know?"

    "Mhm, and what about Momo? What do you like about her?"

     "I like her determination, how serious she is about being a hero. I also like it when she's more laid back, it doesn't happen often, but when she is, she's a total softy. She also has a great body, but like what you said about Todoroki, her looks and features are only a bonus to me."

    "Now that you know why you like them, what are the cons to them, like the reasons your hesitant to be in a relationship with them?"

    "Well, while Kaminari can be a silly and good guy, he can also be a prick. You know how he is around girls, all he cares about is how big their boobs and butt are! And let's be honest, I have neither of those features. So, it makes me feel like he isn't able to withstand a relationship with someone. Especially if it's someone as flat as me."

   "Jiro, your really pretty, even without those features. And if Kaminari can't see that, then that's his lost, not yours." 

   Jiro smiled," Thanks Midoriya."

     "How about Yaoyorozu?"

      "There's nothing to say, she's perfect to me. But, I don't know if she wants a relationship, I mean she wants to put all her time into being a hero and stuff. Plus, what if she doesn't turn that way?"

    "I was worried about that too, when I realized I had feelings for Todoroki. But even though we are together now, if there was one thing I regret, it's that I didn't talk to him about my feelings sooner. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, talk to them, it may not be easy to talk to them about your feelings, but it'll be worth it at the end."

   Jiro let out a soft laugh, then lightly punched Midoriya's shoulder," If being a hero doesn't work out in the future, I definitely recommend becoming a therapist."

    Midoriya laughed in reply," I'm glad I could help!"

     "MIDORIYA! JIRO! HEY!" 

    Midoriya and Jiro watched as Hagakure skipped out of the shop, Iida trailing behind. "Wow Iida, that's...uh...a lot of stuff...." Midoriya pointed at Iida's arms that were holding a bunch of bags.

   "I KNOW! ISN'T GREAT!" Hagakure happily shouted while taking all the bags away from Iida.

     "Maybe for you...." Iida sadly mumbled, looking into his now empty wallet.

      "You guys ready to head back to the dorms?" Jiro asked stuffing her pick into her back pocket.

   The three nodded in agreement before heading out back to the dorms.

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Midoriya's P.O.V~~~~~~~~~~~

        I was standing in front of Todoroki's silent door," Um, Todoroki....sorry I wasn't in my dorm....I uh, called you to tell you I was out, but you didn't reply..." At this point I was expecting him to open the door and tell me that it was ok, but instead nothing happened. I placed my hand on his door knob and pushed it down a little, 'It's opened....?' 

    "Um, Todoroki, I'm coming in." I carefully open the door and walk in. His room was pitch black, besides the light that peaked through from the hallway. Todoroki was sleeping on his floor. I turned my head left to right, but found no sight of the cutlet bowl he told me he'll buy for me. 'Maybe he put it in the fridge.' Before I walked out, I snuck one last glance at Todoroki, then I did what any person would do if their boyfriend was sleeping soundly. I walked over to him and gently placed my lips on his forehead," Night....Shouto." As soon as I leave his room, my cheeks light on fire! ' I called him by his first name! Sure he was sleeping and all, but I did it! I called him Shouto!' I shake my head to get myself out of my 'fanboy' moment and head down to the kitchen.

When I open the fridge, there was no cutlet bowl insight. But there was a plate of spicy chicken, which had a sticky note on it that said," Touch my plate and you DiE! --Bakugo" I close the fridge and walk back to my dorm." I hope Todoroki wasn't mad at me."
