Chapter 12: Tragic Past

 Author's P.O.V

"Ok, is this correct?" Kirishima asked, passing his math homework to Bakugo. Kirishima watched as Bakugo's red orbs scanned over his homework, "Re-check problem three, then your good." Bakugo replied, throwing the paper at Kirishima's face.

 "It's good, I don't care....I mean, it's just one problem." Kirishima placed the paper on his bed then scooted closer to Bakugo, Bakugo raised an eyebrow in suspicion because it was clear that something was going on in the red head's mind. 

"Hey." Bakugo mummbled, Kirishima hummed back in response, "What's wrong?"

   Kirishima looked at Bakugo then at the floor, "It's nothing....I guess i'm Just worried about the test that's coming up and—-Katsuki!" Kirishima stopped talking when Bakugo pushed him to the floor,hovering over him. 

Bakugo cleared his throat, "Let's try that one more fucking time, what's wrong?"

Kirishima felt his face heat up, even if he wanted to tell Bakugo...how could he!? The dude was on top of him, with the most smuggest smirk in all history of smirks! "I, uh, you see I'm just....geez" Kirishima took a deep breath and closed his eyes, "It's been a week without having my hardning quirk. I'm starting to worry that I'll never get it back! I'm not shaming Midoriya's quirk or anything.....cause let's be honest, it's better and stronger than mine, but.....I don't know, It feels like I'm missing half of myself ya' know?" Kirishima slowly opened his eyes, and Bakugo didn't look angry, instead he looked more dumbfounded.

   "God your so stupid!" Bakugo rolled over, laying beside Kirishima on the floor, "Your quirk doesn't make you, you. It's your shitty personality that does.....unless your Deku, If he didn't have a quirk, he'd just be a useless nerd begging me for autographs when I become the number one hero!" 

Kirishima rolled his eyes, "I told you to stop talking about Midoriya like that, the dude worked hard to get where he is."

  "Tck! Whatever, all I'm sayin is that a quirk doesn't fucking make you!"

    Kirishima smiled and laid his head on Bakugo's shoulder, "Thanks Katsuki."

     Bakugo then raised his hand in the air, his elbow hitting Kirishima in the head. "Plus, if those pathetic pros can't get their hands on that villain, then I'll burn the bastard myself!"

  Kirishima rubbed the top of his head, watching as his boyfriend continued to shoutout threats about the girl that switched their quirks. "Way to ruin the moment with your macho mode..." Kirishima muttered to himself.

  "EVERYONE! COME CHECK THIS OUT!" Kaminari shouted out, quieting Bakugo.

    Kirishima got up, "C'mon, let's see what's up."

  "Why? Pikachu always does this!"

   "I know, but it sounded urgent!"

     "Like I said, he always does this, and next thing you know, he does some shitty prank!"

"I know! But I think it's something serious this time! Please, come check it out with me?" Bakugo didn't reply he just turned his head to the left and sighed. Kirishima didn't need an answer to know Bakugo gave in, so he grabbed his hand and practically dragged him out.

 When the two entered the lounge, their classmates were all gathered around the window. "What's going on?" Kirishima got his answer when he saw villains trying to get into the school, with pro heroes trying to stop them.
