Chapter 32

Ashley's POV

"I will be back" he said and left. What?.... am not going to say 'the room' because this is definitely not a room. Its just a place....... we all know how an uncompleted building looks like. Its only bricks that I will call wall.

Am so tired to explain farther. I yawn. I haven't sleep since I came here excerpt for the 'knock out' only. I haven't slept by my self. So I guess this will be the first here. Where it will be my new house or should I say home?

My eye lids where getting heavy.......and heavier.... I close my eyes ready to go to where some people call, and I quote 'la la land'. Yeah I didn't call it that myself. But that name suit it. Just not for nightmares.

"I am back." the monster says. I look at him and close my eyes back again. I was getting close to 'la la land'. I heard a gun shot which made me jolt awake and open my eyes wide.

I look at uncle Benson... sorry scratch that. I look at the monster. Only to see him wide open his eyes and moved his hand to his stomach so I follow his movement.

Now it's my turn to widen my eyes. He is bleeding from his stomach. Then another gun shot was heard. Which made me quickly closed my eyes tight and use my hands to close my ears. Now this gun shot sounds like the person is now close to the place.

Since I didn't hear another gunshot I decided to open my eyes. So I looked at Benson who is now hold his...... heart? Then he falls down.

Two mans came in. But I was still looking at Benson with shock. I yawn for the third time now. But I fault relieve like someone just untied me. I look at myself and there was no ropes around me again.

I look at who untied me but the next thing I was carried bridal style. I looked at the person carrying me. A tear fell from my right eye. It was Chase. He looks at me and whispered.

"Don't close your eyes. Just hold on. Everything is fine now." I smiled at him.

"Sir, don't worry she's gonna be fine." he said to someone standing in front of him. I yawn again but he didn't notice. I look at who he was talking to.

Is that Benson's ghost? Chase is talking to Bensons ghost.

Even in dead his still gonna abuse me. I let the darkness take over.

Chase's POV

"She's going to be fine boss. She just had a bullet in her arm. But we have taken it out now."

"So she's fine?" I asked.

"Apart from the bullet. Yes she is gonna be fine." he said. The three (me, Ashley's mom and dad) of us was a bit relieved to hear that.

"Can I take my leave now boss?" I nod my head. I turn around to look at Ashley's parents.

"She's so beautiful." she said

That's one of the things that made me lo-like her.

She smiles at Ashley's sleeping face. The smile just like Ashley's one "I can't wait to see her beautiful face when she wakes up" she said an idea popped to my head.

"Why don't we do a surprise for her with you guys. Am sure she's gonna be so happy to see you guys." I suggested.

"That will be awesome." she said looking so happy but it soon turned into a frown. "But I can't wait to hug her when she wakes up."

"It's just for two to three days mam. You will be fine."

"Now I can't wait to see the surprise and joy on her face. Yeah let do it I will try."

"What about you sir?" I ask him

"If my wife is fine with it so am I."

"She will be really happy to see you guys."

Ashley's POV

I open my eyes slowly and look at  my surrounding. I am back to my room in Chase's house. I try to get up and seat but my arms hold me back. I lay down back.

I stretch my other arm but it caught something really soft and nice I turn my head. There he is. I never knew he had such a nice hair. Its too soft. I decided to keep on touching his hair. He looks peacefully asleep.

I continue to touch it. I saw his eyes slowly opening so I quickly put my hand down from his hair.

"Why did you stop? I was enjoying it." he said with his sleepy voice. My cheeks start yo heat up. "Do how you feeling?"

"Fine. It's just my arm."

"Well the doctor gave me some medicine to give you after eating in the morning and at night before sleeping and after eating. So do you want pancakes or waffles. So I can bring it for you." he said

"Waffles." he yawns and nod.

"It's fine you can sleep. I'll wait till you wake up."

"No, no princess. I wouldn't allow that so, I am going." he said and walked out of the room.

My mind quickly drift off to what Benson said about my parent.

"He put one million dollar under my bed and lied to our dad that I stole his money. So our father could lose the trust he had on me. So he can also get chosen to take over the gang. After that he took over the gang and I left him. He got married to your mother. While I got married to your aunt. Your father also killed my wife and two days old child. Your mother was helping him and motivating him to do all that and he did."

"Why did he have to do all that to you?" I asked

"It's obvious his jealous that I am the good one and he is the betrayer!!" he shouts while tears falls down from his eyes.

My father is a stealer, betrayer, liar and most of all killer. I will never forgive them.

Never....

Three days later....

I am just on the bed reading my favorite novel titled 'CRUSHED'. It's a really nice novel I love it. My arms are fine now. I'm free to finally do whatever I want. I'm starting school again next week. There is a knock in my door.

"Come in!" I said. Chase came in. He always come to my room everyday and stay with me. Sometime we cuddle together and sleep. If you ask me he has really changed than before. But what surprises me most is that he didn't ask questions about Benson. I only know that Mason put a tracking device in my phone. That I didn't think I had.

"How you feeling." he said and kissed my cheeks makes it heat up.

"Great." I replied.

"I have a surprise for you."

"Really?!" I love surprises. I have no reason to dislike them.

"Yes. Its waiting for you downstairs." he gestures his hand to the door. I quickly got up and ran pass him. I could hear him chuckle. I practically skipped some stairs. But Chase actually passed me with his fit sexy legs.

I finally got to the last stairs and turned to the sitting room.

"SURPRISE!!!"

"Ashley darling, we are your parents."

AM SORRY IF THIS CHAPTER IS A BIT BORING. I WILL TRY TO MAKE THE NEXT CHAPTERS NICE.
