Travis POV

"Who is she?" I said while looking at the girl

"You don't know who I am?" The mysterious girl ask me

"No... I am sorry" I told her

"I am your wife" she said

"My wife!!! That can't right, my wife name is Lissa" I told her

I don't know who she thinks she is, but she is wrong because I know what my wife looks like and that's definitely not her

But whoever she was, I felt bad for her because she seemed like she was in a lot of pain right now. I thought to myself

"Look I am sorry if I am hurting you right now, but I just don't know who you are. But I promise that once I get out of here, I would help you look for your missing person" I told her truthfully

However, I was afraid she was going to faint, she look really pale right now and for some strange reason that I couldn't quite comprehend that sort of bother me. I thought

"Hey, you should probably sit down. You don't look okay" I told her
worried

"Doctor can I talk to you for a second, outside if you don't mind" the girl ask

"Sure" the doctor said

"Hey before you leave what's your name?" I ask

She just look at me with a broken look for what seem like a minute but then she finally respond

"My name is Clair"

"Well Clair it's nice to meet you, my name is Travis"

"We would be right back" said the doctor and then they left the hospital room

I wonder what was wrong with her I thought

She looked like a really nice girl... wait a minute where's Lissa?

Clair POV

"Doctor what's going on? Why is my husband treating me like a stranger?" I ask

"We fear something like this was going to happen, we just did not know to what expect" the doctor told me

"What do you mean?" I ask him because for some strange reason my mind couldn't comprehend all of what was happening at the time

"Due to his head trauma it appears that some of his memory was wipe out, which means that he only remembers thing from the past. That's why I am guessing he still thinks that he is marry to his ex-wife" the doc. said

"Is there anything we can do about it?" I ask

"Unfortunately no, this type of injury takes a long time to heal, and it may honestly may never fully be heal. But what you can do is bring his ex-wife here to the hospital because as painful and awkward as that might be that might be the only thing could actually help him right now" he said

"Ok"

"So I suggest you bring her here before you talk to him again because she might be able to explain this better to him"

"Ok, thanks for your help" I told him

I didn't want to leave Travis here, all by himself, but I need to go home to talk to Lissa

As painful as it is for me to no be with him in this moment I know is for the best. I try convincing myself of that

So I went to my car and drove home

"I'm home!!" I yell

"Mommy!!!!!" Tyler yell from the living room as he came running into my arms

"Hey buddy I miss you!!" I told him as I pick him up

"Hey" I told Lissa who was standing there

"Can we talk?" I ask her

"Yeah" she told me

"Hey honey can you play with your toys for a little while?" I ask Tyler

"Yes"

As soon as he was out of sight Lissa ask "How is he?"

"He is stable for now, but there was a problem, during the ambush. It appears that he suffer a head trauma and lost some of his memory so now he can only remember you"

"What do you mean?"

"He still things that you guys are marry to each other"

"What... are you 100% sure of this?" She ask

"I am afraid so" I told her

"I don't know what to say or do. This has completely caught me off guard" she said

"Well you can start by going to see Travis, it appears that seeing you might be what's best for him" I told her

"Okay... are you going to come with me or are you going to stay here?" She ask

"I think I am going to stay here with Tyler, I have to tell him what's going on, besides I think Travis and you should talk privately" I said

"Okay, I am going to see him right now. Please tell Tyler goodbye for me" she said

"I will, and thanks for agreeing to go see him. I know it can't be easy, but I just want you to know that I really appreciate this and everything that you have done for this family" I told her

Lissa POV

I was trying to act confident while I was talking to Clair but to tell you guys the truth I am freaking out right now as I am driving to the hospital

I don't what to think or what I am going to say to him once I see him

I am honestly so scare right now, but I know that I need to be strong for Travis right now

So here goes noting I thought to myself while I was parking my car in the hospital

"Hi I am here to see Travis Russo?" I told the lady attending the front desk

"Yes of course dear and who might you be" she ask

"I am his wife... I mean his ex-wife" I told her quickly

"Okay he is in room 46, third floor"

"Thank you" I told her and left

Well here I go I thought as I open his hospital room
