Chapter 30

Kyle's POV

Padabog akong lumabas mula sa kotse ni Jeff at dumiretso sa loob ng dorm.

"Hey Kyle! What's wrong?" I saw Luke but I didn't mind him. I just walked straight papunta sa kwarto ko. God I hate that bastard! Bakit ba ganon ang ugali niya? He hasn't even change a bit! Akala ko pa naman nagbago na siya.

"Kyle? Are you okay? Pwede ba akong pumasok?" Umupo ako sa bed at tumingin sa pintuan. I heard Luke calling out my name pero hindi ako sumasagot. I just can't talk to anyone at this moment. It's a very critical stage of my life and I don't know what to do anymore!

"Open the door Kyle please." He sounded like a parent when he said that. Suddenly I had the urge to open the door and hug him as tight as I can.

"What happened?" He tapped my head.

"I can't take this anymore." I said.

"Are you okay? May masakit ba sayo? Do you want me to bring you to the hospital?" He asked.

"It's okay. I just need to re—" I stopped when my phone vibrated from my pocket. It's the pageant director, tumatawag siya saakin.

"Dahil ba diyan?" Luke asked me. I know, I was staring at my phone when he interrupted.

"Oo nga pala. I need to go now." Pumasok ako sa loob at kinuha ang mga gamit ko.

"Are you sure that you're fine? You can skip that practice kung gusto mo." Sabi niya.

"No I'm fine. Kailangan ko talagang pumunta." Sabi ko. I closed the door.

"Okay. Hayaan mo nalang akong sumama sayo papunta don." I miss Chloe. Ganyan kasi si Chloe pagdating saakin eh, yung sobrang caring.

"Fine." Nauna na akong naglakad sakanya. We stopped at the lobby at may huminto namang kotse sa labas.

"Show off masyado sa sasakyan niya." Bulong ni Luke.

"Get inside." Lumabas si Jake mula sa driver's open at binuksan ang passenger's.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Tanong ko. Tahimik lang si Luke sa tabi ko, knowing him ayaw niya sa gulo especially against the seniors.

"Sinusundo ka of course." Binulong niya pa eh rinig na rinig ko naman.

"I can go by myself. 'Wag ka ng magabala pa." Sabi ko at naglakad palabas ng building.

"Hey wait. Just get inside the car." Bossy as always. Damn you Ferrer.

"Thanks but no thanks, ihahatid naman ako ni Luke sa venue." Sabi ko. He looked at Luke na siya namang tumingin saakin.

"On second thought, I think mas maganda kung sumama ka nalang kay Jake kasi nagabala pa 'tong senior natin oh, sayang naman yung effort niya." Effort my ass! I hate it!
