Liz's P.O.V.

My phone rang and it was my sister. I picked it up and immediately heard her voice. "I got a job.", Bonnie said excited.

"Already? Where?", I asked.

"Pop's Diner."

"That's great, sis. Well, I'm happy for you.", I smiled.

That wasn't really a job, but if that's makes her happy then I'm happy too.

I saw Billy by his locker and I had to ask him something. "Look I gotta go now. Bye.", I said hanging up and walking towards Billy.

"Billy?"

"Hmm...", he was putting his books at his locker.

"Why everyone keeps telling me you're the bad guy?", I asked him, I wanted to be sure if the rumours are true.

"Who told you that?", he closed his locker and turned to me.

"Almost everyone.", I answered.

"Well, I was. Not anymore though.", he said. "That was the old me I was telling you about. I'm not that person anymore."

"I'm glad you're not.", I kissed him.

"Well, I need to go. My class is starting soon. See ya.", he said, leaving.

"Hey, Liz. What's up?", I heard Betty's voice.

"Oh my God, Betty. Hi. I was looking for you, but you're nowhere to be found.", I smiled, hugging her.

I really missed this girl. She was a real friend to me while I was here. She's so kind and very nice. I need that kind of people in my life.

"And who's this?", I asked about the guy standing right next to her.

"Oh, this is my boyfriend Steve. Steve this is Liz, Billy's girlfriend.", we shook hands.

"Nice to meet you.", I smiled.

"You too.", he smiled back. "I can't believe Billy has a girlfriend and a good girl too. You know, because he's...", I cut him off.

"Bad guy?", he nodded. "Well, not anymore."

Steve was kind of cute. He and Betty are adorable couple. They seemed so perfect for each other.

"Well, we were about to go to our class. So...see you later?"

"Sure, yeah. Bye.", I waved at them.

Betty's P.O.V.

I couldn't wait to come home. This day was so boring and exhausting. It was raining and it was real autumn day. But the only thing that didn't suck was my date with Steve later.

I got into the house, put down my bag next to stairs and went to the living room. "Mom, I'm going with Steve lat...", I stopped when I saw she wasn't alone.

"Hey, Betty. We have guests.", she smiled.

"I can see that.", I faked smile, when I saw Billy and Liz sitting on the couch.

"What you wanted to tell me?"

"Just that Steve will be here in an hour or less to pick me up. We're going out."

"Sure.", she nodded, but when I wanted to leave she stopped me. "Aren't you gonna stay a little?"

"I can't. I'm sorry, I really need to get ready."

"It's okay, Betty. I get it.", Liz said smiling at me.

I smiled back and went upstairs. I put my bag next to the desk and I change my outfit. I let down my hair and started brushing it in front of the mirror, until I saw Billy's reflection behind me.

"Oh my God!"

"Nope, just me.", he laughed.

"You scared me.", I said. "What do you want, Billy?", I was pissed.

"You look beautiful.", he commented, smirking.

I rolled my eyes and turned back. "Can you leave, please? I have to prepare for my date tonight and I don't...", he cut me off.

"You don't love him.", he challenges, a small smirk appearing on his lips.

"Excuse me?", I turned to face him.

"You can't."

"What are you talking about? He makes me happy.", I crossed my arms and stared defiantly up at him.

"Sure.", he shrugged. "I didn't say he didn't. But you don't love him. He doesn't get under your skin the way I did."

"That's a good thing, Billy."

"You keep lying to yourself. You say he makes you happy, but it's not the happiness that I made you feel. It's not the tingle in your fingers and the butterflies in your stomach. You like him 'cause he's safe. He won't hurt you. He's smart and funny and kind, but he's oh so safe."

"Safe is a good thing.", I nodded at him firmly.

"Not for you. I can see it in your eyes. You want recklessness. You want fiery passion. You want danger. In fact, I think you need it. You thrive on it.", he stepped closer, feeling his warm breath on my face.

One hand slipped gingerly around my waist and the other rested on my cheek. I couldn't breathe. He leaned down, lips just brushing my ear. My skin prickles with goosebumps.

"See? I told you.", he whispered to my ear and then backed away, leaving me breathless. "Have fun on your date.", he said leaving my bedroom.

I can't believe Billy still has this kind of affect on me. It doesn't matter how much I fight it, my body never listens to when I'm near him. And that's not good.

"What was he doing here?", I heard male voice behind me.

"Nothing, he was just here to say hi.", I smiled and Steve looked at me suspicious.

"Okay. Are you ready?", he asked, he was suddenly all serious.

"Yep."

"Let's go then.", he went, but then stopped for a second. "You look beautiful by the way."
