Captain Multi:The Decrease

Another Multi

I arrived at the location The Virus wanted me to go to. It was a construction site and the workers were working on the building. One of them noticed me and approached me. "You think you can show up here after killing an innocent man." The construction worker said. I chuckled at his remark. "I killed a rapist that drove into an innocent man." I said. "You caused the bad guy to crash his car into an innocent, so therefore you killed him, maybe we should teach you a lesson." The construction worker said. The construction worker swung his hammer at me, and I ducked. I knocked him out and the others noticed.
           "You think it's funny to fuck with hard working people, well we'll teach you a lesson by kicking your ass." A construction worker said. Another construction worker charged me and I kicked his shin. He fell and I knocked him out. A group of construction workers then surrounded me. I evened the odds and spawned my own swarm of clones. "I'm trying to stop a bad guy, stay out of my way or I'll have to hurt you." I threatened. None of them listened and they stampeded me. I flipped a construction worker over my shoulder and had a clone kick his face.
        A construction worker grabbed me from behind, and I spawned a clone behind him and took him down. I flipped over another worker, and knocked him out. While the other workers were busy fighting my clones, I ran behind a pillar to hide. The other clones phased away as one of them got hit. "Where are you Captain Multi?" A construction worker asked. I tried to sneak away, but I was spotted and swarmed again. "Am I even worth your fucking time?" I asked. "If it means getting you the death penalty and going to Hell, yes." A construction worker said. I moved back as the construction worker swung at me. "I figured people would be scared of people with powers, but I guess not." I said.
         I kicked the construction worker in the stomach and then did a roundabout kick. I could sense a man behind me going in for a punch. I quickly turned around and grabbed the worker. I spawned a clone behind him and the clone threw him into another construction worker. "Will you guys just listen to me?" I asked. A construction worker went to punch me, but I grabbed his wrist. "You guys aren't safe and need to get out of here." I said. "Yeah, not safe from you." A construction worker said. I knocked him out and walked away. "Your scum." A construction worker said. "Would scum keep you alive?" I said. The construction worker was about to come after me, when a bullet land three inches in front of him.
    "Don't interfere." A familiar voice said. I looked up at the familiar voice to see a girl with brown hair wearing a black leather jacket with red stitching, a black armored masquerade mask with red stitching. "Who the hell are you?" I asked. "I'm what you would call the new Multi. I call myself Infinite." She said. There was something about her that seemed familiar, like I passed her in the streets or I met her as Captain Multi. "Did I inspire you to become like me?" I asked. "No, I just think this city needs a new Multi." She said. I spawned clones to take the bodies of the construction workers off of the construction site. She leaned closer to me and whispered something that made me run cold. "Crave will win, and daddy will take over the city again." "Lindsey, how are you walking?" I asked. "The Virus might of stabbed me, but he is a good surgeon and creator and I owe him." Infinite said.
          She loaded a pistol and aimed it at me. "Do you even know how to use that thing?" I asked. "I'm modified to be like you in every way, so how hard can it be?" She said. "If this is about him going to kill you and your dad, you should go after him and be good like me." I said. Infinite laughed at my remark. "I can't beat him and neither can you, besides, it's good being bad." Infinite said.
                     I pulled out my gun and aimed at her. We spawned two clones right next to us. "If you want to be the bad guy, you get to face the consequences." I said. I shot and Infinite rolled out of the way. She shot at my clones and both of them disappeared. I shot at one of her clones, and only one disappeared. "We have a problem here." I said. "Yeah, the problem is my clones won't go away easily and yours will." Infinite said. She spawned in more clones to surround me. I spawned more clones and had them shoot her clones.
      "Is their anything electrical nearby?" Blake asked. "I'll look." I said. I ran away to look for something I could shock Infinite with. "You scared of a girl Captain Multi?" Infinite mocked. Infinite spawned a clone in front of me and I killed it. I eventually found a generator and turned it on. I cut a circuit and electricity started sparking out of it. "Hey Lindsey, I found something shocking." I said. I shocked her with the wire, and then the electricity became to much and blew all over the room. We both couldn't use our powers, but we could fight.
             "I can still win." Infinite said. She pulled out a knife and so did I. I slashed towards her and she backed up. She swung her knife down at me but missed. "I don't think you have what it takes to kill me." I said. "My dads done it a lot, it can't be that hard." Infinite said. I stabbed her foot and then punched her across the face. "You never killed before, it's not that easy." I said. I aimed my gun at Infinite's face as she got onto her knees. A clone flew out of her chest and kicked me in the face. "How the hell do you know that move already?" I asked. "It came natural to me." She said.
         I felt my powers surging in my body again and I started using them. I spawned thirty clones around me and so did she. When she shot a clone, only one disappeared this time. "What the fuck, how are you doing that?" Infinite asked. I was constantly using my powers to keep spawning in clones right before they disappeared. "You have to find the real me now." I said. Infinite began shooting at all the clones around her while dodging their attacks. She spawned clones to fight mine while she looked for me. "I don't think you have the balls to kill me." I said. "Of course I do." Infinite said. I walked over to the real Infinite and dropped my gun. "Then do it." Infinite aimed her gun at me with shaky hands.
          "I can't do it." Infinite cried. She began sobbing hysterically. It was apparent that she didn't have the killer instinct that her father did. Just then, The Virus started talking to me through Lindsey's phone. "Oh Captain Multi, always going easy on the kids. I knew she wouldn't kill you, but papa bear will." The Virus said. I rolled out of the way as a bullet zoomed past me. Mondollo was on a higher part of the construction site holding a sniper. "You fucking bastard, I'm going to slaughter you." Mondollo said.
                  I aimed my grappling gun at Mondollo and grappled up be him. "Daddy, don't fight him!" Infinite screamed. I smacked the sniper out of Mondollo's hands. "How does it feel knowing your going to die?" I said. I smacked Mondollo across the face and kicked him in the back. Mondollo landed on the ground, spun around, and pulled out a pistol. He shot me once before I broke his hand and nose. "You really don't get it do you Mondollo. No matter how many times a bad guy tries to win, they always lose everything." I said.
                Lindsey shot a bullet on me, but I dodged it. "Lindsey, get off the building." Mondollo said. "No, I'm not going to leave you." Infinite said. I walked over to Infinite to kill her. "Your going to lose everything." I said. To protect his daughter, Mondollo pulled out a remote detonator and put his finger on the trigger. "Hey Captain Multi!" Mondollo screamed. I looked back to see what Mondollo was holding. Infinite jumped off the building while I started to run away. I skydived off the exploding building the opposite way of Infinite. I grappled onto another building while Infinite grappled to another.
                  When Infinite looked back on the scorched building, she began to cry. The sadness turned to anger as she came to terms that I was responsible for her father's death. She picked up her gun and dropped down to the streets. There she saw a civilian walking down an alleyway. Infinite shot the civilian and felt an emotion that she couldn't name. It was a feeling close to pressure and love, and Infinite liked it and wondered how she ever lived without the feeling of taking a life.
         While she did that, I landed on another building and had to walk away. I would find her later and knew she wouldn't kill or be a threat to anyone. I went to my house to sleep for the night and Infinite went back to where The Virus was hiding. She was upset from her father's death and had a desire for revenge. "I swear Mr.Crave, I'll kill him next time I see him." Infinite said. The Virus grabbed the collar of Infinite's shirt and slammed her against the wall. "Give me a reason to not perform another c-section on you." The Virus said. The Virus extended his claws and put the tip of his claw on Infinite's stomach. "Because I can kill him this time." She said.
      The Virus laughed. "You are not worthy enough of the power I have given you, maybe I should give it to someone more opposite of Captain Multi, and someone with a yearning for blood." The Virus suggested. The Virus dropped Infinite to the ground and backed up. "You only live because you might be of some use to me." The Virus said. The Virus walked away from Infinite. "What are we going to do now?" Infinite asked. "I'm  going to kill Captain Multi and he will die knowing that he failed everyone and that he's is no hero." The Virus said. Infinite got up and pulled out a pistol and cocked it. "Your not going to kill Captain Multi, it's my turn now." The Virus said.
            Infinite began throwing a fit. "But I want to..." The Virus rushed back towards Infinite and pinned her to the ground. Infinite began to feel her fear levels rising as The Virus toppled over her. "Whine again you little bitch, and that tongue comes out." The Virus said. The Virus let Infinite go. "You had a chance and you failed, you're just going to do what I tell you." The Virus said.
