The next day after I was bested by The Virus, I exercised more than I ever had in my entire life. I got all my anger out of my system this way and a technique that worked for me was punching a bag. I did harder punches and quicker maneuvering when I stapled a picture of Brian on the bag. It almost felt like Brian was in front of me and I could just kill him.
I stopped hitting the bag and made my way over to the dumbbells. I didn't just do the traditional lifting, I had a technique where I hung upside down by my feet on the pull-up bar. The reason for this technique is to lift weights from a harder position and beat gravity at its own game. I lifted the dumbbells at least seventy times before being exhausted. I dropped onto the floor and drank water I brought into the bunker. Blake came down into the bunker earlier than usual to work on my superhero equipment.
"Please tell me your not killing yourself trying to exercise so much." Blake said. "Don't worry, I've only been down here about twenty minutes." I said. I walked over to Blake. "How could I beat The Virus?" I asked. Blake glanced my way. "I mean you never asked me to look into computer viruses, so I don't have the slightest clue." Blake said. I looked over at the chart of Barbed Wire members. "The Virus's strongest asset is The Barbed Wire, and if I'm going to destroy him, I have to show him that the most powerful criminal organization is no match for me." I said.
"I thought that was already your plan." Blake said. "Yes, but now I'm actually trying to focus on them." I said. I scanned the member list to see a black outline of a person. The member's name was Robbie Olsen and when I searched the web for him, nothing came up. Nick entered the room and sat down in his usual spot. "I see your confused on who Robbie Olsen is." Nick said. "Do you have any idea who he is?" I asked. Nick shook his head. "I never seen him, but I think he's Linus's foster son." Nick said. It could be a possibility that Robbie was Linus's foster kid, but why would there be no image of him online.
"Do you guys think The Virus took everything about Robbie Olsen offline for some weird reason?" I asked. "This could be part of his plan for ruining you Ian." Blake said. I knew Blake could be right on this one, and I had to find Robbie as soon as possible. Just as I was about to discuss more about Robbie, the police radio said something about a crime. "All units, we have a ten sixty-five in progress." The officer said. "Looks like some bank robbers are at it again." Nick said.
I put on my suit and loaded my weapons. I decided to take a sub machine gun, a knife, and two pistols to stop the bank robbery. "Looks like The Barbed Wire can wait." I said. I left the bunker and jumped building to building. I eventually landed on the roof of a building that had sirens blaring. This was either the sign of a bank robbery or a fire, and I didn't see smoke. I opened the roof door of the bank and silently made my way down to the criminals who were about to lose their lives.
My brain warned me that an armed man was up ahead. I could sense him in front of the wall I was standing behind. The wall wasn't that strong and could easily be smashed to pieces. I broke through the wall and snapped the guys neck. He was guarding the bank manager at the time of his death and the bank manager pleaded not to hurt him.
"I don't know if you know who I am, but I only kill bad guys." I said. "That's not what the news says about you." The manager said. I walked to the office door. "Wait here until I clear out the bank, and then see if the news is telling the truth." I said. I crouched down and made my way over to the hostages. There were seven men with spas-12s and shark masks all walking around and aiming there guns at the hostages. "Alright everybody, we just want all the money and to kill this Captain Multi that everyone's talking about." A robber said.
The robber who said that was the smallest of the seven and was wearing a hammerhead shark mask. He seemed to be the leader because of the way he talked to his men. The leader had a voice modifier like me to hide his voice. The leader pointed in my general direction and ordered a robber to go over there. The robber did as he was told and made his way over to my area. While no one else looked at the robber, I spawned a clone and killed him. The clone quickly dragged his body over to the cover I was hiding behind.
This was the only chance I could take down a robber with stealth, the rest I needed to blow to pieces. I ran into the crowd and shot a robber in the head. All the other robbers turned around to see the commotion. "If you want me dead, come and get me." I said. The hostages ran and screamed outside of the bank. "Fuck the hostages, kill that bastard." The leader said.
I dodged shot after shot as I sprinted for cover. I vaulted over a counter and aimed my gun against the wood. My brain told me to shoot through the wood and I did. I heard the screams of two robbers as they collapsed to the floor. I got out of cover and killed three other robbers. "Just you and me you bitch." The leader said. I discover something new I could do, and that was spawn a clone straight out of my body. It just happened and when it did, the clone flew out of my body and kicked the leader in the face. This wasn't like me just spawning in a clone, it literally flew out of my body.
The leader did a back flip when my foot connected to his face. I decided it was a good idea to show him how it was wrong to be a criminal. I pulled out a knife and put the tip of the blade really close to the leaders eye. "You picked the wrong career." I said. I jabbed the knife into the mans shoulder and started cutting into the rest of his body. "Please help me." The leader screamed. I didn't stop until he went limp. I removed the hammerhead mask and was shocked and felt instant remorse. Usually I don't feel remorse for any of the criminals I kill, but the leader was a fifteen year old boy.
I noticed a walkie talkie on the guys body and picked it up. "I see you killed my trap Captain Multi." The Virus said. "What do you mean trap Crave?" I asked. "Take a look at his right arm." The Virus said. I rolled up the dead boys sleeve to reveal a tattoo of barbed wire. "Captain Multi, meet Robbie Olsen, the fifteen year old boy you killed." The Virus said. I felt as if I reached homeostasis with my anger and couldn't even be angrier. "Your sick Virus, you actually killed a teenager." I said. "Wrong Captain Multi, you killed a teenager. Now if you excuse me, I need to visit my parents for the first time in a while, and you need to say hi to the SWAT team entering the building." The Virus said.
The SWAT team kicked down the door to the bank. "Freeze Captain Multi." An officer said. "I spawned a wall of clones in front of me while I ran towards the back door. They were smart enough to send officers into the back, so I wasn't getting out that way. Luckily the bank had a window on the roof, so I grappled up onto the roof.
I jumped onto another building and took off my mask. "I can't believe your winning Brian." I said to myself. I put my mask on and ran building to building. "Guys, I need a location on Brian's parents, their names are Anita and George." I said. "You're in luck Ian, they live on 2576 Oakland Street." That was by Kimberly Street which was on the other side of town, which was in a bad area. "Ok, I'm on my way." I said. I jumped and ran determined to save a couples life. This time, I was my turn to ruin The Virus's plans.
