Captain Multi:The Decrease

The People Started Hating Me

It was the next morning and I was eating breakfast. The annoying sound of an amber alert played on the tv and on my phone. An eight year old girl named Miley Delgado was last seen on November Avenue getting into a blue Chevy Cruze. I felt glad because this meant I could actually kill a creep to get my mind off of The Virus.
         I went into my bunker and put on my suit. Zach was awake and looking at me. "Duplicating man, I want some soda." Zach said. I grabbed a soda and put it in the food slot of the cell. "Anything else?" I asked. Zach grinned at me. "Can you let me out of this cell so I can kill you?" Zach asked. I began laughing. "Ha, ha, ha god no." I said. I went onto the streets and searched for the car. It took about thirty minutes to find the blue Chevy Cruze, but I saw it zooming down the streets eventually.
        I spawned a wall of clones in front of the vehicle. The driver went to run them over, so I made the top most clone leap off the clone wall and crash through the Chevy's windshield. The Cruze swerved all over the road and eventually crashed into a pancake restaurant. I guess I spooked the driver and he crashed as a result.
       I passed the stunned civilians who were eating their pancakes, and opened the driver door of the car. I pulled out a fat, short man who was wearing a white undershirt with stains and grey sweatpants. "You were going pretty fast buddy, any kids in the car?" I said. "Take a look, you won't find anything." The man said. I spawned a clone by the trunk and when my clone opened the trunk, I could see the eight year old girl tied up.
         The man became terrified that he would lose his life and started fighting back. I shot him in the head as Miley Delgado watched. Her eyes widened with horror and she screamed a blood curdling scream. Police cars pulled up on the scene. People sitting in the restaurant all talked about me, calling me the bad guy I really was. I don't really know why they called me the bad guy, I just saved a little girl's life. While the police were entering the hole in the restaurant and people bad talked me, I noticed a tattoo on the dead mans left index finger. The tattoo was barbed wire wrapped around his finger. This meant he was a member of The Barbed Wire, or the tattoo was a way show that this stunt was caused by them.
                 "You've done it this time Captain Multi, you actually went over the top." Captain Dirk said. I became furious. "I know what I do is illegal, but I just saved an innocent little girls life." I said. Captain Dirk pointed down at the car. I looked to see a dead civilian who was ran over. "You also took an innocent man's life and caused damage to this restaurant. I guess it goes to show, you don't care if you hurt civilians." Captain Dirk said. The civilians all got up. "Go to Hell Captain Multi!" One civilian shouted. The civilians were out of control and started throwing things at me. The only reason they stopped was because the officers shot their guns as a warning.
                Captain Dirk began reading me my Miranda Rights. I spawned a dozen clones around me and used my grappling gun to escape. I ran rooftop from rooftop back home. I went all the way down to my bunker right up to a punching bag. I pulled out my pistols and created a bunch of holes in the bag. I was pissed that people were going to see me as the bad guy now, and there was nothing I could do to prove them wrong. The only thing I could do was get The Virus to confess to making me look like the bad guy.
                  "Someone's in a mood." Zach said. I turned behind me to see Zach in his cell, Blake working on weapons, and Nick sitting at the super computer. "Thanks to Crave I look like a bad guy now." I said. "What happened?" Blake asked. I turned on the news and of course, there was a story dedicated to me. "Hero or villain is what everyone is talking about. Captain Multi made a car crash into a restaurant, kill an innocent man, and kill in front of a little girl. So Harbor City, is Captain Multi still a hero or has become a villain." The anchor said.
              I turned off the TV. "That's what happened." I said. I sat on the couch with my hands over my face. "This is why The Virus hired The Barbed Wire, he wants everyone to see you the way he sees you." Nick said. "So you take down the people one by one, that's the only way to win this war Ian." Blake said. I looked over at Blake to see what he was inventing. "What are you making?" I asked. "I'm upgrading your weapons to shoot better bullets that can penetrate better and ricochet off metal." Blake said. I grabbed the special bullets and loaded them into my gun.
             I shot at metal and the bullet went all over the room. "This is nice Blake." I said. "Thanks, it's my greatest invention." Blake said. I walked over to the super computer. "Nick, I want you to search for The Barbed Wire leaders." I said. Nick typed word for word into the computer and a family tree of the Whitmans came up. "The ones with x's over their face are dead, and the others aren't." Nick said. There were six Barbed Wire leaders alive including Linus. I read a file of a Vicky Whitman. She is the twenty two year old daughter of Linus and was a master at killing.
              "I'm going after Vicky first, she's the one poses the biggest threat." I said. "Ok Ian, but what should we do about Zach?" Nick asked. I walked over to Zach's cell with a knockout grenade and threw it inside. It blew up and like its name suggested, knocked Zach out. "Take him to the healing table and perform electric shock therapy on him, make sure to increase the voltage every time." I said. Blake obeyed and moved Zach over to the table.
               I walked out of my bunker and back onto the streets. "Is there a last sighting of Vicky anywhere in town?" I asked. "As a matter of fact there is, she was last seen near Bronco Labs, the place Penelope Mondollo got stabbed." Nick said. I made went all the way to Bronco Labs by grappling building to building.
                 There were armed guards everywhere and I knew getting in quietly would tough. I went in the loud way and started shooting at everyone. The guards all noticed me and started shouting their rifles at me. These weren't any ordinary rifles, these were rifles that shot lasers like Star Wars guns. They might of had bigger and better guns, but like most bad guys, they suck at shooting them. I dodged shot after shot and almost got my head blown up a couple of times.
            I decided it would be a splendid idea to try out my ricochet bullets, so I did. The bullets ricocheted all over the place and killed a bunch of guards. More guards came outside, and I used my clones to distract them. While they were busy shooting the decoys, I snuck inside.
                 I was welcomed by a hall of gunmen aiming their rifles at me. The hallway was small so I shot a bullet straight at the first guards head. The penetration worked great as it went through every guards head. I ran down the hall way with two of my clones.
                  I walked in to see a brunette haired women wearing a red baseball hat giving orders. "Come on guys, we need to kill Captain Multi." Vicky said. "How about I make you confess to Harbor City instead about The Virus's plan." I said. Everyone in the room looked at me. "Don't stare at him, shoot him." Vicky said. My two clones and I ran around the room dodging gun fire and killing bad guys. As soon as I shot the last bad guy, a grenade zoomed past my head. I rolled to the side and aimed my guns at Vicky.
           She was carrying a Tommy gun with a grenade launcher attachment. "Kill me if you can Captain Multi." Vicky said. "I can definitely kill you, in fact I can kill your whole family." I said. She shot bullets at me and I barely made it out of the way in time. She was good with that thing and I had to be better with my guns if I was going to beat her. I ran behind a wall as she advanced towards me. She shot a grenade at the wall but the cover blocked me from blowing up.
        I made a clone lung from the side of the wall and shoot at Vicky. She swiftly gunned him down and then I came out. I shot her in the chest and she fell to the ground. The bitch was too dumb to put on a vest for protection and as a result was bleeding out from her chest. I bent down towards her face. "I'm going to get you help if and only if you tell the truth of what's going on." I said. "I'm just a philanthropist, why are you doing this?" She asked. "Because you don't deserve life." I said. "I'm going to tell you the truth Captain Multi, The Virus is recording this right now and after he edits this to make you seem bad, he'll show the police." Vicky said.
        I looked up at a catwalk to see The Virus holding a phone. "The police are going to hate you more than I already hate you Captain Multi, and it's thanks to you killing her." He said. I didn't kill her yet, but now I definitely wasn't going to. "I'm getting her to a hospital instead." I said. "Are you going to let me live Mr.Crave?" Vicky asked. "About that." The Virus said. I heard the sound of a phone beeping and realized that the sound was coming from Vicky's pocket. I dove out of the way of the phone explosion and looked back up at The Virus. "Your a dead man." I said. I shot my grappling hook up towards The Virus and climbed onto the catwalk.
      "If you want me dead, your going to have to catch me." The Virus said. I started doing parkour to keep up with The Virus. We found ourselves on the roof and he went to punch me. I ducked and grabbed his fist. "You might have learned more about me, but I'm still going to kill you." The Virus said. I punched him in the jaw and kicked him in the leg. "Crave, leave him." Mondollo said through the radio. "I want to ruin him just as much as you, but we can ruin his reputation even when he is dead." The Virus said.
         The Virus clawed at me, but I moved to the side. "Think of who you were before all of this Crave." I said. "I was weak and a loser, but now I'm much better and I'm going to hurt you." He said. He punched me and I went flying backwards. "When I make you look bad, people won't care if your dead." The Virus said. "Is that why you hired The Barbed Wire, to make me look bad?" I asked. "Of course" The Virus said. "You can be like me Virus, instead of going after me you could go after bad guys." I said. "Let me think about it. No I think I'd rather die fighting you." The Virus said.
                  The Virus was about to kill me when police helicopters appeared. A black helicopter also appeared and The Virus jumped into it. "Tell the police I said hi Captain Multi." The Virus said. The black helicopter took off. "Captain Multi, you are under arrest." An officer shouted. Like hell I was about to go to with the police. I ran and jumped off the building. I fell until I could shoot my grappling gun to escape.
      I heard the police chat and what they were saying made me want to kill The Virus even more than I already did. "We just got a video from an anonymous source and it shows Captain Multi killing Vicky Whitman." An officer said. The officer played the video and it was edited to sound and look like I killed Vicky Whitman for no reason.
             "Ian, normal Zach is back and he wants to see you." Blake said. "I'm on my way." I said. I made my way back to my house and into my bunker. Zach was himself again and didn't show any signs of being The Shogun Demon's general. "Ian, your Captain Multi?" Zach asked. "Yes, and your safe now from The Shogun Demon's clutches." I said. "Thank you so much, I wish I could help you out." Zach said. "How about you help me by using your new powers for good?" I asked.
       "How do I get started?" Zach asked. "You could make a costume and you have training, now you just need a name." I said. "Not only could I burn people, but after they burned, they turned into obsidian." Zach said. "Then I guess that's what we'll call you." I said. On that day, Zach Ragon became Obsidian.
