The Virus drove his Range Rover to Oakland Street to his parents house. It was true that The Virus came from a bad neighborhood with tough kids and mean parents. His parents thought of him as a nerd and loser because he wasn't similar to the other kids in his neighborhood. The other kids were mindless brutes who played sports and fought each other, while Brian was a smart, lethargic nerd.
You'd think as parents that Anita and George would stand up for Brian, but they were just as ruthless as his bullies. His dad would beat him everyday and his mom who was an alcoholic, would smash bottles over his head. This never sat well with Brian, and he knew one day, he would make his parents feel what he felt like as a small child.
The Virus got out of his Range Rover and phased through the front door. "Mother, father, guess who came to visit you?" The Virus asked. There was no response, just silence. They weren't home, and The Virus had time to explore his childhood home. The last time he was in his childhood home was when he was eighteen and left for college. This house was in a bad area, and like a lot of people living in bad areas, they didn't earn enough money to send The Virus to college. The only reason The Virus was able to escape the clutches of the terrible place he called home was because he won a science scholarship.
The Virus walked over to his old room. His old man of course changed it into his own man cave. The Virus has a flashback of him as a child sitting on his bed with his dad talking to him. He was jumped while walking to school and lost the fight. That was a huge no in his family, and as a result of losing, his dad lectured him. "Maybe I haven't whipped you hard enough boy, maybe I should whip you harder to get the pussy out of you." George lectured. George removed his belt and began beating Brian with it. The Virus could still hear his screams and remembered the pain everyday.
The Virus zones back to reality and went to the living room. The Virus had a flashback where his dad walked into the living room drunk and pissed off. Brian was building a model rocket at the time when his dad walked into the room. "What the fuck are you doing now?" George asked. "I'm building a replica of the challenger, which is a space shuttle that blew up." Brian said. His mom was drinking wine on the sofa. "No son of mine is going to be doing this nerdy shit anymore." George said. George began stomping on the challenger model while Anita laughed and wanted more destruction.
The Virus looked at a closet that he was trapped in as a child. He had broken a lamp and to teach him a lesson, Anita put him in a closet for thirteen hours without food or water. All those incidents were just in three days. His life was like that until he left the house when he was eighteen. They were the people he hated more than Captain Multi, and he could actually kill them without any problems.
The Virus wanted this day to happen for so long, that now it seems that it could be a dream. It didn't seem possible that for once he could torture his parents.
The day dreaming was cut short when The Virus heard the front door creaking open. The Virus phased through the walls to hide while his parents walked into the room. Anita was drunk as usual and George talked about his day. "Guess what I saw today Anita, a fucking nerd searching for minerals. The world would be better without those nerdy people." George said. The Virus phased right back into the room. "I'm a nerd dad, and I'm a billionaire." The Virus said. Both of his parents, but his dad was the only one who looked at The Virus with terrified eyes.
"What shit am I on?" George asked. "Well dad, I don't think you took your morning meth today you red neck piece shit, so what your seeing is real." The Virus said. The Virus slapped his own mother across the room. "Who the fuck are you, and why are you doing this?" George asked. "I know its been thirty years, but you don't recognized your own son, that's pretty sad." The Virus said. "Brian you geeky piece of shit, I swear to god I'm going to kill you." George threatened. George had a license to carry a gun, so he pulled out a nine millimeter and aimed at The Virus's head.
He shot two bullets at The Virus's head, but the bullets just phased through. "You always were stupid dad." The Virus said. The Virus broke George's collar bone in under two seconds. George groaned in pain as he rubbed his collar bone. "Your a psycho Brian, I should have killed you a long time ago." George said. The Virus laughed at that remark. "You kept me alive to blame someone for your mistakes in life, if you killed me, your life would have been worse than what it is now." The Virus explained.
Anita was just watching this interaction in her drunk state and thought it was funny. "Injure my husband again grey guy." Anita said. Anita must of also been on weed, because she laughed at everything that was happening in the room and The Virus could smell the familiar smell. The Virus looked at his own mother with an evil look in his eyes. "How about I do something to you instead?" The Virus asked. The Virus picked up Anita by the throat and stabbed her brown eyes with his claws. The Virus dropped Anita to the floor. She was dead and The Virus could aim his attention fully at George.
"I think you have a thing for retarded women dad, because mom was no Einstein." The Virus said. "Brian, I don't have the slightest idea who this Einstein fella is, but I guess he was some smart guy, either way, your mothers dead and you shouldn't mock her." George said. "You always mocked me dad, why is that?" The Virus asked. "I tried my best with you son, but the truth is that I always saw you as a psychopath waiting to get out. I knew that you would be a serial killer one day, I knew ever since I saw you torturing animals in the backyard." George explained. It was true that The Virus used to have a thing when he was six for cutting off squirrels legs and he always used to say it was for science, but when he became The Virus, he realized that he loved causing pain. "Maybe if you didn't treat me like some sort of freak, I wouldn't be standing in this room right now." The Virus said.
There was a pause of silence in the room. "Your right Brian, I'm sorry." George said. "Well dad, sorry doesn't fix your problems." The Virus said. The Virus stomped on George's back hard enough to shatter his spine. "It was this exact spot that you broke my challenger replica, now it's your turn to be broken." The Virus said. The Virus shredded George's skin piece by piece. George's chest area had very little skin left, and George was on the brink of dying.
"I think instead of just putting you out of your misery, I'll let you enjoy the last few minutes of life in pain." The Virus said. The Virus sprinted towards the back door and phased through it. He escaped and I arrived fifteen seconds after he escaped.
I kicked down the front door and aimed my machine gun into the house. "Virus, come out now." I demanded. I heard groaning from the right of me, and I saw George's body. "So your the George Crave that Brain talks about." I said. "And your that vigilante everyone is talking about." George said. "When did he leave?" I asked. "Thirty seconds ago, and I don't think you'll catch that bastard." George said. "I don't think you'll survive George." I said. "Your the good guy, your suppose to help me." George said. "News flash Georgie, your technically a bad guy because of the way you treated Brian. If you treated Brian like a son instead of a monster, I would gladly help you." I said.
I walked out the front door to let George die slowly. The Virus got away and I wasn't going to go on a wild goose chase, so I went back to the bunker to work on taking down The Barbed Wire.
