A particle and a wave,
Ultimately, a lie
We are all dying,
But refuse to believe it
Like the lady that sits across from you
The Alzheimer's lady, that used to be your mother
And now won't believe you're her son
The woman that thinks she's a little girl
And doesn't know she can die
Temporarily at least, extance is a gift,
A perfunctory illusion
A lie, like everything else,
But what's the difference between
A well-told lie and the truth?
