Greg smiled softly when he noticed Mycroft shift closer to him on the small couch, lightly resting his hand overtop the inspector's.
Greg intertwined his fingers with Mycroft's, turning his attention to him.
A faint blush dusted his boyfriend's freckled cheeks, causing Greg to smile more. He lightly squeezed his hand, earning a soft smile from Mycroft.
"You're brilliant," Greg murmured softly, his small way of saying "I love you".
Mycroft smiled, "you're fantastic."
Greg grinned a little, subtly shifting closer. "You're amazing."
"You're extraordinary."
Their foreheads lightly bumped together, causing both to laugh softly.
"Love ya, Myc."
"Love you too, Gregory."
