I literally have to force myself to read these damn books my school burdens me with over the summer. I finished my first one but now I'm reading "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks". Biographies do not interest me at all. Honestly, I could just bullshevic my way through the essay and not read but I'm gonna be tested on it within the first week of school.
What the hell?
The first book was "A Judgment in Stone". Here's the summary:
A maid killed her employers because they found out she can't read then fired her.
The book was 188 pages long. It took 20 CHAPTERS before getting to the killing. All the action happened in two pages and the rest was about her lying then going to jail.
School... You are a bitch.
