Harry's POV
I was eating some chocolate frogs when suddenly I heard a voice. It didn't sound human for it was rather..Snakey? I looked aroud me and that's when I saw it. A small snake was slithering towards me and was complaining about how stupid humans can be. I decided I might as well talk to it since I have nobody with me. "Hello snake, what's your name? " It made a small gasp and questioned with excitement "you're a speaker?! " I smiled a little and replied with "yes I am, now what's your name?" Her name was Sylvian and in all honesty I thought she was a very beautiful snake so I asked her if she would like to be my companion. She happily agreed and I let her wrap around my arm just above my wrist. Just as I was about to continue enjoying my chocolate frogs, I heard a horn and saw a MASSIVE man shouting "firs' years, firs' years cmon over!" I quickly grabbed my small trunk and headed over to the huge man. When everyone got close enough to the man but still kept a distance in case he squashes us, he told us all to get in a group of four and paddle a boat together. I soon learned that his name is Hagrid and he's half giant which made sense to me seeing his height. I rode alone because I didn't feel like socializing with anyone as it's too much of a hassle. When the boats finally stopped moving, I got out and headed over to a woman who came to get us, she was wearing a long black robe and a matching pointy hat. She told us to wait patiently and as we did, I could feel the nervousness of my body trembling down on me. I kept my emotionless mask on and hid behind some other first years. That's when a man with a long white beard and a light blue robe came into the hall we were in and shouted "HELLO FELLOW WITCHES AND WIZARDS!"
