You were sitting there crying,
so I sat by you,
wiped your tears away
and gave you a hug.
Now I'm crying, alone
sitting here
No one to wipe my tears away,
and no one to
give me a hug.
I tried to make you feel less alone,
but I was the lonely one.
I wanted to tell you,
but you had your own problems.
Is it selfish
for me to want a hug?
Is it wrong that I
want a break from
wiping your tears away,
and let you look at mine?
Because even some strangers
know my tears,
and care.
But you,
my friend?
You have your own tears to shed,
but please
after I've given you
another hug,
and wiped away
another tear.
Please,
Please!
Give me a hug,
let me shed a tear.
