Alternate Universe

So many diffrent universes 

you would think 

there would be so many new beginnings,

and maybe 

at least one

happy ending?

Yet somehow

i always die.

Sometimes a new cause,

sometimes an old way, 

sometimes a game session.

Can i blame

bad luck, 

fate,

my enemies,

or love.

I may arise like the sun,

but there is always a period of darkness.

I may not be able to comfort you, 

at least not yet.

I will wait for you

in all the alternate universes.

Whether you killed me,

or someone else, 

or some unknown cause.

I will wait for you

in every alternate universe.
