The guests had arrived and marvelled at the decor and how the murthy's had gone all out. Everyone from buisness to fashion industry was glad on being invited. After Manik's birthday, this was a major event and everyone was lucky to be a part of it.

Ishita and Raman were good hosts, making all feel welcomed and at the same time doing their duty as parents. Nyonika's and Raj being their friends and uncle and aunt of the bride were standing with them at every step.

Manik and adi, were delighted to be there, making sure everything works out smoothly. Looking handsome and grabbing the eye of almost every female in the room, they had made quite an appearance.

But the one to be seen was nandini murthy, even when she wasn't the bride, the murthy princess looked every bit of an angel. Her beauty today was unmatched. And not just Manik but everyone else present had difficulty keeping their eyes of her.

Manik smiles at nandini, looking over her outfit, everytime she made Manik speechless with her looks. He walked towards her when she was talking to the wedding planner, his arms went around her waist, keeping his mouth near her ear, he spoke ever so softly but nandini couldn't hear anything else apart from his voice.

Nandini blushes and turned towards him, looking straight into his eyes

N : I can say the same about you. It's going to get difficult keeping those girls away

M : I have my eyes only on you and that's what matters

Manik dipped his head forward pecking her lips softly, this time there was no hiding, he wanted everyone to know that something was going on between them and that they were both taken.

Shivaay and anika entered hand in hand and walked towards the stage. The looked royal . Complementing each other perfectly in matched outfits, they looked every bit of a couple.

Smiles on everyone's faces they awaited the exchange of the rings. Nandini went forward and stood beside shivaay while manik was there besides anika. The bride and groom were looking into each other's eyes, and the moment was made perfect with their blushes.

shivaay made anika wear the ring and vice versa. the guests clapped and shivaay and anika promised to be each others. nandini and Manik exchanged excited grins as people came up to congratulate the engaged couple. leaving them to enjoy their moment, manik and nandini went to find their friends.

Al : the preparations are amazing. U guys did a great job

P : thanks

Ru : what are you saying thanks for u didn't even do anything

Ad : she helped me manage things

Ru : I think you should take the credit, afterall it's your brother's engagement

Nandini heard Ruhi and was about to say something when Manik stopped her

M : the function is too important to be spoiled arguing with her.

N : right let me just get pretti out of there.

Nandini excused preeti out while manik decided to talk to adi

M : what are you doing?

Ad : what. They were fighting

M : yes over you

Ad : no, about who did what

Manik felt like banging his head and castes a glance towards nandini to calm himself down.

M : they are just looking for a reason, the main point is you.

Ad : I didn't even do anything

M : that's the point

Shraven came and looked at Manik then back at adi

Sh : what's up guys

Cabir came there upon seeing them make a circle too.

C : the ceiling, lights

Sh : I didn't mean literally

M : Adi doesn't realize

C <mocks > : oh about that two girls are fighting for his looove.

Sh : hey, one of them is my sister

C : sorry brother

M : how can you be so stupid.

Ad : I never said to either of them that I like them

C : so do u

Ad : I... I

Sh : you need to find out, otherwise this is going to blow up in all our faces.

M : exactly think about it. I need to go find nandini

C : yes yes you don't have time for anything else

M : cabir

C : go I am joking

M : and it wasn't funny

Manik leaves ,cabir and Shravan talking while Adi is busy in his thoughts. He could see what was happening, he just didn't bother but now like his friends had said things were getting out of hand and he needed to do something before nandini took matters in her hand.

Manik and nandini mingled with the guests also helping their parents with the hosting. The night was going towards the end and it was a pretty amazing evening. The engagement had gone well and happiness was reflecting on the people.

Later the couple also went out to give some pictures for the media, manik and nandini too took some pictures solo, after Manik's birthday, rumors about Manan were on full swing and their parents didn't want to fuel them, therefore Manik and nandini were advised to keep distance in front of the cameras. But adi did fine pose with Ruhi which was a beginning of another big rumor in itself and it's consequences were yet to be seen.

All in all it was a beautiful function.
