"Jack Jack Jack!!" I yelled running dow the stairs "what?! what's wrong?!" he asked looking at me worried, I smiled "nothing" "are serious? y/n stop doing that! You freak me out every time" I chuckle and kiss his cheek.

Jack is my best friend, he likes me, he's very obvious about it even though he tries to hide it. He doesn't realize I know, I'm scared that if it doesn't work out our friendship won't be the same so I don't show any sings from my side.

He started blushing but tried to hide it, he's so cute. I chuckled and got a drink.

3 weeks later

We were on the couch hanging out since we spend all day every day together and we basically lived at each others place. My phone rang and I picked up. "Hi Mom what's up?" "Hi y/n can you come over this weekend?" "yeah sure"

The next morning I got my stuff ready and walked over to Jack and hugged him "bye see you on monday" "bye have fun" he said and kissed my cheek and I left.

While I was driving my mom texted me "come directly to the hospital" "what?! why?" "grandma's not doing well" "oh god"

I got to the hospital and found the room, my family was there, I hugged them all and looked at her. I had tears in my eyes, I went over and hugged. She touched my hand weakly "I love you" I said crying "I love you more, you've bettered my life" she whispered.

It was 10pm, I was sitting outside alone. I called Jack "hey y/n wassup?" I sniffled "what's wrong?" "my grandma passed away" "aw y/n i'm so sorry" I started crying again. "I loved her so much" "I know you did god i'm so sorry, where are you rightnow?" "outside the hospital"

I was still sitting outside alone an hour later, just crying and looked at the ground. I heard a car pull up. I looked up and recognized the car "jack?" I said. The door opened and he got out, I stood up and ran into his arms, he hugged me squeezing me tight.

He put one hand on the back of my head "you drove all the way here?" "yeah I don't want you to be alone" we stayed like that for a few long minutes. He kissed my head "thank you" I whispered "I love you" he whispered, I pulled back and looked at him "really?" "of course I do baby, I've loved you for months it's not just a crush. I love you I want to be there for you and take care of you" I smiled, I touched his face and kissed him, he kissed me back and wrapped his arms tighter around my waist.

We pulled back slowly "I love you too, thank you for everything" he pulled me closer and put his head on mine and kissed it. He touched my legs and picked me up, I wrapped my arms around his waist and he carried me to his car.

We drove back to my parents house, we all spend the night together talking about everything. I was sitting in his lap with my head on his shoulder, he had his arms around my waist and kissed my forehead.

We drove back to my house the next morning, we got back about an hour later. Jack parked infront of my house, we looked at each other. He took my hand and I leaned my head on his shoulder. He pulled me into a hug, we sat there in silence, I lifted my head and kissed him "i'm your girlfriend btw nobody else is" we both chuckled "I don't mind at all" I smiled and kissed him again "thank you again" "thank you"
