Oh Dear Wife.
I remember all those years ago,
I stood out in the rain,
Soaking every inch of me,
Washing away the pain.
The guilt began consuming me,
Eating me away inside,
Seeing the distraught look on your face,
A part of me had died.
Oh my love, what have I done?
You’ve left me terribly confused,
You were my first and only love,
The only beauty I mused.
You told me that you’re fed up,
You want more in life,
I worked all day and night for you,
To make you happy, oh dear wife.
