Winter (Doctor Who FanFiction)

I hear a click, the lights all start to fade, I hear another and the buzzing from my cage stops, I smile.

At that exact moment I hear a noise a familiar noise, one that brings happiness, a noise I originally thought was stupid, but now is just brilliant.

It lands next to me so bright blue, never have I been more happier to see her.

"Hi," I say to the TARDIS grabbing it's door handle, but it won't open, my smile drops.

"This isn't funny," I say and try again, nothing not even a movement,

"Doctor!" I yell shaking the door handle,

We have limited time before the power comes back on, and now at this exact moment the TARDIS holds a grudge on me.

"What are you waiting for come inside," the Doctor says and somehow I hear him,

"For the door to open!" I reply back,

"Oh sorry," I hear him mumble he must be coming closer to the door,

I try to open it again and then I think I've opened it, for one glorious moment, but then I realize that the Doctor opened it.

I look up and smile at him and smiles in reply,

"Hello," I say popping out the 'o'

"Hello," he says embracing me in a hug, I hug back smiling uncontrollably,

Then I hear a click.

The powers coming back on.

"Doctor we have to go now!" I say pulling out of the hug,

He runs up to the center console and I shut the door, he starts his ice skating routine and eventually lands us somewhere.

"How'd you do that?" I ask as the Doctor covers my split eyebrow with a patch.

"Do what?" He asks,

"Turn the power off, what you've done once, you shouldn't be able to do again, they would've known that's what you would have planned," I say confused,

"I didn't turn the power off,"

"Then who did?" I ask,

"My new friend with two chins who wanted to be set free," the Doctor says placing the last bit of tape on my eyebrow.

"Him! He gave me this scar!" I spit, before rolling my eyes, "this place is full of weirdos,"

"That's why your here," the Doctor smirks standing up I laugh in reply. we walk down the TARDIS corridor and I start to wonder again.

"Explain this, who's Rik?" I ask,

"A simple human trapped here," the Doctor states,

"Crap," I mutter,

"Why?"

"I sort of thought that he was 'evil' and yelled at him," I state as we walk to the TARDIS doors.

"Oh, Winter, trust is a funny thing,"

"Ah, Doctor, I see your plan has worked and Miss Winter is safe," Vastra says as we approach them.

"Indeed I am," I sigh, "now when can I go home and sleep,"

"Home?" The Doctor asks raising an eyebrow

"Well the TARDIS then," I laugh,

"We still haven't saved all these people," the Doctor smiles as Rik stares at me suspiciously.
