And the bell rings, I swear I'm the most exhausted person here
I rub my eyes and exit the classroom just to bump into a wall
"Ugh" I groan to myself
"You should be more careful next time sunshine"
I look up to see Bryce giving me a smirk "oh hey" I gave a tired smile which earned me a kiss on the head
"What are you doing after school"
"Hm let's see, homework, homework, trying to get my mom to actually speak to me, and oh wait did I mention homework?"
He chuckles which makes me do a little victory dance inside my head
"Well if you can, try to stop by my house today"
"Can't but maybe tomorrow"
"You have been dodging me for a week now"
He's right I have but he says it with a little smiling showing me he's playing around
"Shutup, I'll talk to you later"
We head separate ways and text kenzie
Me- hey you wanna come over tonight?
Kenz- yeah ofc be there in 15
When i get to my house I still have 10 minutes to pick out an outfit that doesn't make me want to die
It took me forever to pick something
I pulled out two sweaters and one hoodie to try to figure out what I should wear. I also pulled out one green crop top with spaghetti straps just in case I felt like today was the day I would finally show my arms
I went with the white hoodie and black leggings and ran downstairs when I heard the beep of her parked car
She ran up and hugged me
"Heyoo, by the way I invited over kyle..is that okay?"
"Yeah sure I don't care"
We walked to my room and I went to go pick out a movie to watch but stopped when she started talking
"Why don't you wear this" she said with a little hesitation in her voice
She was looking at the green shirt I sprawled on my bed a little before she came over And I just stood there frozen
"Or not" she said quickly
"Um no I was just thinking since we are watching a movie I should be more cuddly" I gave a small smile
"What if we don't watch a movie"
What?! Not watch a movie? Okay them my presence is going to be really boring
I try to think of things pulling stuff from my brain but I got nothing
"Let's go to the park near your house, it'll be hot over there" her eyes seemed hopeful, I didn't want to let her down
"Kenz.."
"Please? It'll be fun and I'll text Kyle to meet us there and everything"
I sigh and nod my head
She passed me the shirt and I just stared at it
"Um..can you turn around please.."
"Oh yeah, of course, sorry"
She turned around and I felt bad.
It's not like she hasn't seen me in a bra and underwear before we have known eachother for so long it's insane but I just felt more vulnerable
