Taehyung was late once again and Seokjin had been waiting for him in front of his house. He noticed the bags under his eyes as he finally saw him approaching.

"Were you playing games till late again?"

"Tch.." came out of Taehyung as he thought his partner had begun with the lecture early on.

Seokjin's ability was to read other people thoughts. He avoids using it with people he's close to but despite that he accidently managed to grasp the word "lecture" in between Tae's thinking. He chose to ignore it either ways.

"We have to spy on a meeting today" said Seokjin.

"Who are those people again?" Taehyung asked showing no interest whatsoever

Seokjin stopped and thought for a while.

"I don't know.. the orders didn't mention"

"That's strange" Taehyung added.

A few moments later they were standing out of the location they had been directed to. It was a crowded street with quite a few shops around and a café full of people next to a large building with offices. Outside of it, two men were guarding the door.

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" Seokjin yelled at his younger friend as he had already left the car and was now closing the door behind him.

"I am off to take a coffee.. need anything?" Taehyung smiled and headed to the store ahead of him.

At that moment, Seokjin realized what he intended to do, so he let him be.

After a while Taehyung exited the café and got back to the car casually walking with his coffee.

"There are more of them," he said as soon as he sat down.

Seokjin looked towards him and waited till he completed his words.

"See these two guys in front of the door? There are more of them surrounding the building, I saw them on my way back."

Security seemed to be tight already. Seokjin thought to himself for a while and finally said

"I don't think there is a chance we are getting in there. Our best choice is to head to the rooftop of the block of flats just across this one. I may be able to read their minds through the windows. If not, we think of something else. "

They both agreed on that and got out of the car. Taehyung touched the front door of the building and sent an electric signal through it, making it open instantly. They climbed up the stairs and reached the rooftop. They could now see through the windows of the offices. The room on the top floor seemed to be a meeting room. However, it was empty. They waited there for a while when the door finally opened and they saw people with suits coming in. Seokjin attempted to read the thoughts of each person individually. As long as no furniture and items were interfering with his sight, he could clearly "hear" everything.

Everyone's thoughts were similar, referring to that one boss that had called them. The one in charge didn't seem to be present though. That is until all of their thoughts became silent, and the only sentence that could be seen is "He's here!!". He tried to spot that one new person that entered, but the place they were standing unfortunately didn't contribute to his view. Seokjin switched minds in high speed but nothing seemed to be specific. "So they know", "It's getting serious from now on..", "It's time to make our move obvious".

Immersed in comprehending all of the things he was receiving, he suddenly caught that one sentence.

"We are being watched?!"

A strong wind suddenly blew up, almost like warning them. The atmosphere tensed up. Taehyung was quick to realize from the moves of the guards as well. It was obvious they had been spotted. Seokjin was about to head to the door to leave, but he was reminded the enemy was coming from there as well.
"We can't leave through here, we'll stumble upon them" Taehyung yelled.

Seokjin realized they were trapped and immediately put out his phone to contact the headquarters. He explained the situation and was told to make some time until help arrives.

"We have to keep them busy for now" he said.

As they both anticipated, their escape route was probably going to be through the air.

"I am going to hold on to the door. So whoever touches it from the other side will be blown away due to the electricity" Taehyung smiled malevolently.

A bit later, sounds came from the other side of the door. One of them threw his self on it in an attempt to get it open but got blasted away and dragged more of his teammates down the stairs. Two of them tried again together, but there were still no results. They had come to understand by now, that in order to get this through a special type of uniform or something equivalent would be needed. In addition to that, they had been ordered not to carry guns in today's meeting. So they were basically unable to do anything for the time being. Then, they heard a really loud sound coming from above them.

The helicopter couldn't fly any lower, so it let down a ladder and waited for them. Seokjin grabbed on to it and started climbing.

"What are you waiting for?? Come!" he yelled in agony.

"You have to go up first and be ready to go! I can't leave the door like that." Taehyung was right.

Climbing up the last step, someone of the crew pulled him up. Finally having gotten into the helicopter, Seokjin heard the pilot saying "Ready? We're off!"

"WHAT ABOUT TAE?" he was confused and worried.

The pilot seemed uninterested.
"I am sorry, it's orders.. we can't risk it"

And the helicopter started flying.

Seokjin refusing to believe what was going on faced in the direction of his friend. Taehyung noticed the distance between him and the helicopter was getting bigger and bigger. He left the door and started running as soon as realization hit him. His partner in the plane was in panic, signaling him to be quick. He now had to jump in the void if he wanted to reach the ladder.

He jumped and stretched his arm...it seemed like time had slowed down. Like it had almost stopped. He then realized. He was not going to make it.

Before he could think of anything else, the ladder seemed to move like magic in his hand. On it's own.. He managed to grab onto it and they began pulling him up. When he got in, he was trying to catch his breath. Seokjin, now relieved, thought it would be better if they didn't mention anything at the time being. What matters is that Taehyung is now safe. That was enough.

The oldest only managed to glare at the pilot.
