Chapter 5

A lot happened but beside that I slept quite well. Really weird to wake up in a hospital bed, it doesn't take long before a nurse comes in to give me some breakfast. What can I say, what they say is true hospital food is gross. The nurse had also brought a small box with stuff that was mine, my phone thank god. I take my phone out of the box and look up Spotify putting on a K-pop playlist. I sing and move along with the music that's playing, not that I can sing or dance or anything, it's just that I like to do so and a little birdy told me I should do what I like. Okay just kidding, it wasn't a little birdy it was my own head talking. I end up making dance moves from BTS their Apanman dance on the music of Rocket from Seventeen's Joshua and Vernon. I'm totally in my own world when I hear a little giggle from the other side of the room. I turn around to meet Soonyoung's face, and unlucky for me Hansol, Jisoo and Jihoon are here as well. I blush out of shame and quickly turn off my music as Christian comes walking in. "{y/n] ~" he comes in half singing my name and with a big bright smile he carries a fruit basket and of course it's filled. "No Christian no" "oh hell yes, you need to eat well to recover so I have all kinds of fruits and you will eat it" this is how it always go, Christian is a caring person but so am I. we can not handle the other is taking care of us. The five boys take place on some chairs that were left in my room. They were all so pretty and actually really sweet. "what did you eat this morning" "gross hospital food" they laughed. Christian sat between Jihoon and Soonyoung and just couldn't get a smile off his face, understandable when you're between your bias and someone you really like that creeps up behind your wrecker being like well hey there I'm nice too.

My stomach made a weird noise, I directly got a worried face from Christian. The boy is so worried that I won't eat or drink enough. Jisoo didn't really hesitate and got an apple from Christian's fruit basket, and a little knife. It's almost like an anime, where two people fall in love but one is in the hospital so the other feeds them apples. Cute, I mean no he is just trying to be nice that's all. Jisoo is cutting the apple. "y-you don't h-have to" I stutter. He smiles "you're hungry here" he hand me a piece I want to get it when he pulls back, he shakes his head with a smile. "say aaah" Does he want to feed me? I blush slightly as I open my mouth, Jisoo gently fed me the apple. He was actually such a sweetheart, I was sleeping on this guy for sure or maybe I was just blind. Won't be the first time. I met eyes with Hansol who looked somehow a little jealous that Jisoo was the one feeding me. Christian and Soonyoung had the same kind of smile on their faces, I'm glad they stayed quiet else they would sing 'Oeh lala' together as well. It was really sweet but kind of awkward. Jihoon only looked around himself he wasn't really interested in what happened. And suddenly he opened his mouth in a way I never hoped it would "what actually are you?" there was a silence in the room. I looked at my hands not knowing how to answer, Christian didn't how to respond either. "You're a girl right? Than why do anything possible to hide it?" Jihoon's words sounded cold, cold like ice. I know that's the kind of person he is sometimes, and I really understand why he is questioning it I just don't know how to explain though they probably won't except it at all. Being non- binary is hard, people often don't understand you or know how you feel. Christian jumped up "anyway the doctor asked me to talk to him are you walking with me Jihoon?" smooth way Christian. Jihoon somehow did cheer up a bit and nod "wait I go with you as well" Soonyoung called out. The three boys left Christian knew how much I hated explaining myself to people, especially when I had no clue at all how they would react. I was left alone with Jisoo and Hansol. Hansol directly placed himself on the other side of me than where Jisoo was. Hansol placed a hand on my shoulder "you can tell us anything don't be ashamed of who you are" he smiled really sweet, I looked at Jisoo who also had a sweet smile. "If you don't want to tell you can say so too, whatever you are comfortable with" they were right why should I be ashamed of who I am, if they can't accept than that's their problem right? I'm taking a deep breath and look Jisoo and Hansol both one more time in the eye. "well, it's not easy.. and I'm not sure if you understand.. b-but I'm a Non-binary person"
