NAGISING AKO NG maramdamang may humahaplos sa ulo ko. It was so relaxing that I almost purred like a cat. I tried to open my eyes but it felt really nice I just wanted to sleep forever. The person doing that smelt awesome too and although very familiar, I can't quite point out who it is. I stayed like that for I don't know how long until I drifted back to my deep slumber.

Waking up, I noticed the absence of the comfort I felt while being petted in my sleep. That must have been the best sleep I had in a while though. When I opened my eyes the first thing they did was to search for that person but nobody was in the room.

Room? Wait a private room?

What the... Nasaan ako?! Mukha parin naman akong nasa hospital dahil na rin sa amoy disinfectant dito sa loob pero hindi ito ang kwarto ko. Compared to my room this one looks luxurious, and the bed was a queen sized bed! In a hospital! Meron ding mini refrigerator sa tabi at isang 36 inches led tv. Napabangon ako sa kama at akmang tatawag na ng nurse ng biglang may pumasok.

Damon?!

"Hey how are you feeling? Are you supposed to be getting up? Stay in bed." He's face showed no emotions but his eyes says otherwise, he kinda looked worried. Pshh nah. Imposible.

"Damon? Paano ka nakapunta dito?"

"As you can see I still have my legs intact." He remarked sarcastically. Aba! Pilosopo to ah. Nagtatanong ng maayos yung tao eh.

"Ang ibig kong sabihin, paano mo nalaman na nadito ako. At tsaka paano ako nakapunta dito?" Tanong ko habang masamang nakatingin dito.

"I have my ways and you're here because I want only the best for you." Ma ta-touch na sana ako kaso naalala kong hindi libre ang hospital sa pinas. I couldn't afford this kind of room, kung titignan mo ito ay baka kulang pa yung natitirang pera galing sa subasta pambayad rito.

"Pero mahal dito Damon! Wala akong perang pambaya-"

"You don't have to worry about that. The bill is already taken care of. All you need to do is to take care of yourself and recover fastly." Nagulat ako sa sinabi nito. How could he possibly pay for MY bills? May kapalit? "If you're thinking that this will cost you something then you better get that idea out of your mind."

"How-"

"It's written all over your face." Am I that transparent?

"Pero-"

"No buts. The doctor said you can be discharged when you wake up. By the way I saw to it that your mom will be transferred into the private room next to this one, after this, from the moment you step out of this hospital you will be living in my property and I want you to quit all your jobs. Am I clear?" My eyes were already bulging as he finish.

"What?! Anong ibig mong sabihin?! Quit my job?! Alam mo ba yang mga pinagsasasabi mo Damon? Oo alam kong mayaman ka pero wag mo akong igaya sayo! Kailangan kong magtrabaho para mabuhay! At anong lumipat ng bahay?! I will stay where I want to stay and you can't dictate what I should do and whatnot. At si pati mama?! How could you possibly decide on these matters by yourself and most importantly without asking my permission?! Damon naman alam mo namang wala kaming pera. Sumali pa nga ako sa putang inang auction na yun para may pambayad dito diba? Alam kong binili mo ako pero tao parin naman ako!" Hindi ko mapigilang mapaiyak sa sama ng loob. Pakiramdam ko isa akong bagay kung paano niya ako utus utusan ng ganun na lang. I feel like I have no personal life anymore, like he's controlling everything.

"P-paris?" Napatingin ako sa pinto at nagulat ako ng makita ko sina Arosha at Emy.

"K-kanina pa ba kayo dyan?" Nang umiwas sila ng tingin ay hindi ko mapigilang malungkot at magalit.
