I was startled when I heard a knocking noise on my window at roughly 4 am. Scrambling to my feet I felt my vision turn to static as I hadn't moved in a while.

Regaining my eyesight, I quietly walked to the window, glancing through the glass I noticed nobody, opening it I laid my eyes on a crumbled piece of paper on the windowsill.

I took it and unrolled it.
