"Mackenzie, there's something I have to tell you." Johnny mutters, looking between her and Avery.
Mackenzie looks at him, worried, stopping the bouncing that she was doing to calm Avery down, "What is it, John?"
"Well... I- um..." He began to stutter as he looked around the diner they were currently in. "I- I love you."
He chickened out. What a puss.
Mackenzie let a breath of relief, "Johnny, aw!" She placed her hand on her chest, placing Avery down in the high chair. "I thought you were breaking up with me!"
"What? Of course not!"
She moved to next to him in the booth, kissing his cheek. "I wouldn't let you anyways." She said in a joking manner, "I love you, too, baby."
"You do?"
"Yeah." She nodded before giving him a chaste kiss on his lips. "You got me in my feelings." She began to sing and Johnny threw his in annoyance and groaned.
"Please don't start."
