I walked into the hospital wing and knocked on Madam Pomfree's office. The door opened and she eyed me.
A disappointed sigh fell from her lips, "Let me guess, you fell from another tree?"
The story that I had made up when I first came to Hogwarts had become my go to lie when I came to visit Madam Pomfree. I nodded and she began her usual fussing.
Wrapping bandages and giving ice packs, without even having to request this time she put curtains around my cot. I pulled out my homework. My humming soon turnned to quiet singing as I worked.
When I shut my notebook I heard the door to the wing open and quickly snuggled up into my blankets. Not making a peep.
As I heard Madam Pomfree come out of her office, my sister, Lily, began talking to her. I could only assume she was here to report the Mauraders bullying Serverus again. When I heard what I assumed to be Serverus's voice adding onto the story I knew my prediction was true.
Soon they left and I sighed in relife. I didn't need Lily fussing over me.
