By now everything feels surreal.

Like I’m here but I’m not.

I’m Numb.

I feel like I’m hovering above my body.

Watching.

Waiting.

I don’t know what I’m doing?

Black figures are following me out of the corners of my eyes.

Haunting me.

Feeding me lies about a world not so far from here.

‘Happiness’ they whisper over and over.

I wish they would stop.

I don’t know how much more I can take.

They say that I could be happy.

All I have to do is end it.

It would be so simple.

But I can’t.

I have to go a little while longer.

Then everything will be alright.

It has to be.
