Chapter 1

It's honestly so magical

I rang up a dude for his cassettes and vinyls then went back to studying

I heard the door open and someone walked in. My eyes stayed focused on the book in front of me. "Welcome to Stereo records" I said uninterested as I didn't even look up

No one responded. I looked up and saw the back of a female. She had on a light brown trench coat and her hair cascaded down her back

She had earphones in from what I can tell from the small view of her face I saw

Looking back down to my book continuing to get this damn assignment done

I looked at the clock not realizing how fast time had gone. The sun was down and it was dark

The girl and a few other guys and a couple were the only ones left but little by little they left the shop until it was just the girl and I

Joey left before me as he started before I did! Leaving me to close

It was five minutes until closing time and the girl finally made her decisions and came up to the counter

Getting up looking at the girl I couldn't help but notice how incredibly beautiful she was

Absolutely Stunning

"Is this it for you?" I asked lowly as I looked down seeing she had John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, and Taylor Swift cds

"Yes" she spoke sweetly as her eyes flickered up to meet mine

I laughed to myself a bit as I began to scan the items

"What's so funny?" The girl asked staring deep into my soul with the most charming smile

"CDs? no one gets these anymore" I said with a small grin

"I think it's quite cool to still hold a physical album in your hands" she said

"Very true, I agree" I said as I rang up her total.

"That'll be $15.50" I said

They were used CDs so they were discounted.

She dug into her pocket and handed me her card. My eyebrows raising noticing it was a black card that only famous and rich people usually have.

Rich people are always coming in here so it didn't surprise me. Maybe her parents are rich or something.

I swiped it then gave it back to the woman and proceeded to give her the receipt after putting the cds into a black bag

Her eyes peaking through her bangs as they studied my every moment. I felt a little nervous under her gaze

"Thanks" She said with a smile

"Night" I responded with a small wave

She left the place and a sigh escaped my lips as I began the routine of closing up shop

The rest of the week went the same, the same routine over and over

Once again sitting in the counter this time scrolling twitter. Our boss was never around. He's some old rich dude. I mean the shop is located right in the heart of Santa Monica California so nothing but rich people around here

Just like last week I recognized the girl from before walk back in. I paid her no mind as I did my duties

When it took her about 25 minutes to
look around the store and she finally made her selection she came up to the register
